I played through the first 30 game days. I liked it at first, but as it progresses, the challenges (orders) just get loftier, and loftier. This normally wouldn't be a problem, but even after upgrading the food generators -each spitting out multiple categories of items- it gets mondaine, as you must have a match all lower leveled items for everything. Then, you're using all 100 energy units in about 5 minutes of play, only to have to wait hours (or pay) for more. In short, it gets old quickly.
Reviews for Flambé: Merge & Cook
doesnt offer any way to collect more gems or more energy. takes forever to get energy levels rebuilt. the graphics are awesome. the game play is amazing. Just wish there were more ways to build energy up faster and obtain more gems, such as watching videos or winning them for completing things in the game. edit. I wanna love this game sooooooo bad. but, I go through energy with in 45 seconds of game play. please fix this!!!! offer more energy and gems, please!
I LOVE this game. However, I do not like that it takes so much energy to get the items needed to complete orders; I do not like that there are not side events that allow you to gain gems; I do not like there are not side event or even ads to grant extra energy. By the time I hit the 2 hour flambé portion I am out of energy and have to wait 3 hours for my energy to get back to 100%. I do not like the items producing items for merge time out so quickly. The game graphics and concept is BEAUTIFUL.
This is about as fun & fair as merge games can get. I've tried quite a few over time & every time I get on a merge game mood I end up liking this teams games best. They don't have popup ads & the energy comes back at a decent rate, you also get a fair amount of extra energy pieces so you can progress at a fun rate without losing interest, I can't stand the ones that heavily limit energy so you can barely progress. The story is great & relatable, the timed events are even more fun!
I like this game. I find myself playing it more than any other game. the problem is you don't offer any other way to get energy, as in short videos etc. so I'm literally playing for a few minutes until energy runs out and then I have to wait so long for energy to be restored. it's annoying and I'm sad I have to Uninstall because it's getting frustrating to not be able to enjoy more time in the game without making a purchase for energy.
If you enjoy spending money to play then this is the game for you. Otherwise, you have the energy but the suppliers are down for an unknown amount of time. There is little opportunity for gems. If you spend the gems to get more time with a supplier, you get maybe 10 taps before its down again. You can either have a few minutes of play time or pay to play. It's frustrating because I actually like the game 🤷♀️
Progress was lost after Day 105, and over $150 in game extras. Customer service didn't do anything or offer anything even after showing the receipts, to help remedy the problem. Simply said, couldn't find the account, you'll have to start over, sorry. After this review the game will be deleted. it was one of my kiddos favorite games but I'm pretty mad the customer service on this sucks.
fun and frustrating. items disable super fast, no telling how long a cool down is to collect more sub items. and I'm finding, for example, with the fish nets once they finally cool down and become playable again it only supplies you with like 10 items before disabling again. (all main items do this, the fruit, veggies, meat, fish, and so on.) its starting to make the game less enjoyable. Im about to uninstall. just download "seaside escape" its a much more enjoyable merging game.
I love this game. however, I do have recommendations. like the bubble numbers... they should be able to be used without energy. I already had to earn them. also, the challenges can become overwhelming since some of the items take so long to get. lastly, points earned in challenges should be carried over. if I only need 2 points and the order is worth 30...I lost all the points that I worked hard for and that's not fair.
The game mechanics try very hard to force gem purchases. I will usually buy few smaller package or two for games I enjoy(ed). I did for this game. Big waste. Ultimately the only thing that matters for progress is the refreshing of the devices that distribute the food you merge. With gems. You could bave 300 energy but can't do a single thing with it until devices refresh. This can take hours for every single food category. This developer's Seaside Escape is soooo much better.
