i like to take screenshots of the fluid motion then blend the picture in sketch and turn them into art. I've made quite a few dragons and weird crazy stuff this way. it's neat and gives me inspiration to create with. thank you for this app. would like the option for a "no background" and another option that i can put my own art or picture behind as a background, then use the fluid simulator as an overlay. would be great. also the menu button needs to hide faster.
Reviews for Fluid - Trippy Stress Reliever
← Back to Fluid - Trippy Stress RelieverIts perfect for just mellowing out. Clearing your mind. It's also a potential child distraction when needed. I would the option to use the app over a screen shot. This shouldn't be to hard to add. Even if it has to be something I created in the app just having the still frame in the background would be nice. I'd also like patterns to select for the auto play option. Maybe waves or heartbeat lines maybe even rain drops. Just something other then random series of swirls.
I've spent countless hours playing with the free version - which is amazing already - for months now. I've only bought ONE other app before (I needed to mount ntfs in android)...so you can imagine that this app must be pretty neat if it gets someone who doesn't really buy apps, to buy it. The amount of options is just so worth it, you can totally customize the visuals to your liking. Great for people with certain types of anxiety or sensory issues, it allows you to tune things out and focus.
An absolute banger of an app. The only thing I would advise, for live wallpapers, add a third option for lock screen only. I love this idea, the concept, the thought and customization put into it. But when I unlock my phone and I'm trying to just open an app, I wish I didn't have this in the background. As a lockscreen though, there's nothing that beats this, especially with always on display and the combo if the S-pen. 10/10 app. Love it
This app is great!!! The time will definitely slip away from you and take a little stress with it . I would not recommend it as a wallpaper it will cause your battery to drain faster than normal with that being said I have enjoyed it so much that I have not removed it from my screensaver!!!! It's that entertaining. So just plug it in and enjoy it a little longer ,....
AWSOME,AMAZING👍👍👍👍🤳 If you like beautiful colors, anything that is SUPER relaxing and very trippy? Then THIS APP IS FOR YOU! You can control ALMOST EVERYTHING involving the movement it does or doesn't do. Along with the colors and the animation, you can also ALMOST make it do whatever you want visually! It's I super cool and I don't see how it can get any better!! I highly recommend it! I give it 5 🌟 FOR SURE!
Downloaded out of idle curiosity & promptly forgot about, not even opening til weeks later, didn't expect much & figured it'd be one of many apps I tried once & uninstalled. WOW was I wrong... it's mesmerizing & addictive, especially with music. Reminds me of music visualizers only better because it's interactive. Quite possibly now my favorite app on my phone, it's definitely in the top 5. Perfect for an industrial/ebm playlist. Really does relieve stress as it's name suggests, I was surprised
I gotta tell you. I dont see it as a game. Its a wallpaper. I take my wallpaper very seriously and I used to change mine often. The problem was always clutter hides apps.Good ones have solid dark themes = low clutter. If your phone can run it at a decent resolution it's absolutely perfect. Background stays dark when you don't touch and turns into any number of cool light shows when your active. 5 stars. I love it. P.S. It's kinda therapeutic and calming.
I could look at it all day and not notice time passing... Not to mention all the different settings it has. Would deffenitly pay to have more options to play with. Some difficulties with saving it to my background, it tends to save whatever I was playing with in the app over whatever I had saved to my background. Other than that two thumbs up!
This game is amazing. I saw your post on reddit, and looked it up. Bought the full game almost immediately. I love it. Suggestions for pondering if possible. •Slide bars are good for quick changes. But it would be nice if you could directly change the numbers with the keypad. •custom color select •options to set points for continuous dispersal. Just some thoughts I had while playing.
Live this app. Nothing else like it. It allows for me to make works of art, music, Color, and art therapy. And just plan awesome. I use it to make videos. I don't even think the developers know it's full potential. Only one problem that recently happened od you can't remove the little white circle when using it. Otherwise... Its perfect. The only improvement o can think of is different color pallads being made available. But I don't want anything to be changed.
Love it. Only 1 question. How come when on auto in the free version there are 2 vortices that can run into each other, but in the paid version there is only 1 and no way to add more? On that note, you should add the ability to add even a couple more, say up to 4 of them at a time. Never mind, figured out that it depends on how many are on the screen when you turn on auto. An option to control the number would be cool though. Other than that, one of the coolest apps ever !!!
Well done mellow app. I love all the options. When I'm *ahem* in a certain frame of mind, I alternate between staring at it and occasionally finger painting some chaos into the scene. You can now wrap around the particles instead of just bouncing off the walls. And the menu button is now hidden when you stop touching the screen! Much less distracting. Some ideas: When you tilt the phone, the plane could tilt as well. And if you do a certain gesture (like double tap), you could zoom in and out!
Haven't really had the opportunity to explore very much as I was hounded to rate & review pretty much from the get-go (literally within 5 minutes of launching) but like very much what I see so far. There's enough to keep you plenty occupied with the presets alone so I imagine once you move onto the customizable features the possibilities could be endless. It might be useful to understand what makes each of the presets gobble up the most memory — the latency seemed all over the place.
Had some free Play Credit that I couldn't figure out what to use on for months. After all the usual recommendations didn't seem worth using it on, I decided to give this a shot. And wow am I glad that I did. I wasn't expecting much, just something cool to look at before forgetting about it. Instead I ended up with the best wallpaper and lockscreen that I could have hoped for. It's also a great tool for anxiety because it gives you something simple to focus on and even interact with as wallpaper.
I absolutely love this app, it makes for great wallpapers! One suggestion I have is being able to control which colors are in, and not just certain settings as RBG or Fire. What I mean by this is having a list of colors and being able to pick and choose which ones you want to input into your simulations. If you could do that, then I would rate 6 stars if I could!
decided to do 4 stars for now. haven't used the app too much yet. but plan to use it and incorporate soothing music with it. I deal with PTSD, chronic depression and high functioning anxiety. In times of just winding down or needing to feel more calm, I'll use this as a distraction. it also is entertaining for my ADHD. You can also change a lot of settings and style of the fluid. Also i'll keep editing and updating my review as I use the app more. but so far so good!
I like it a lot. I've been playing with fluid color apps for quite a while. I wish I could add personalities to the orbs floating around. You could watch them dual with other swirling balls. Fighting for survival. Maybe they form groups, swirling around swallowing up the competition until they come across some "Ninja" ball of color that looks like it's going to be an easy mark but ends up taking them all down. Maybe it's a family of antelope swirls running from a leopard swirl. Stuff like that.
Soooo hypnotic! I haven't tried all the variations, so I'm looking forward to exploring them, especially since each one I've already played with has absolutely delighted me. (I've squealed like a child a bit, I'm ashamed to say. 😄) The only disappointment is that my friend can't get it, being unable to pay $10 for it. (Unwilling, too, as I would be if I hadn't been able to get it through Play Pass. It's a fun app, but not $10 fun.)
caution may induce flashbacks :) I'm really amazed at how many parameters there are that you can set if you edit a custom preset. I think it will take me a very long time to get bored with this app. this would have been unbelievable when I was a blotter enthusiast. it's still cool but I can only imagine how mind-blowing it would have been when I was, uhhh, experimental!
