Description
Been playing Foretales for a couple months now. It’s basically a story-driven card game where you get to make choices that shape the fate of kingdoms. Pretty cool concept, right? Here’s what you do: you play as this thief dude named Volepain who has visions of the world ending, and you team up with a bunch of animal companions to try and stop it. There’s a ton of strategic depth with the card management and decision making, but it’s not too complicated. And the hand-painted art style and fully voiced characters make the whole experience really immersive. Look, if you’re into strategy games with RPG elements, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying – but overall it’s a pretty solid mobile adventure worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Foretales. I've tested a bunch of strategy games on mobile and this one's up there with the best. The storytelling and choices are super engaging, and the card-based combat mechanics are just the right level of complexity. Graphics and performance are great too. Only real downsides are that it can get a little repetitive after a while, and the progression feels grindy at endgame. But if you're a fan of this genre, I'd definitely recommend giving Foretales a shot.
