Description
Been playing Friend of a Slime: Survivors for a couple months now. It’s basically a horde survival game where you and your cute little slime buddy team up to fight off waves of enemies. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you travel through the Mystic Woods, collecting coins and fruits to unlock new weapons and powerful artifacts for you and your slime. And there’s also clan battles, which is pretty cool. And the 10-minute sessions make it perfect for quick gaming on the go – took me a while to figure that out but it’s a nice feature.
Look, if you’re into strategy games with a twist, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades get real grindy at higher levels – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Friend of a Slime: Survivors. I've tested a bunch of horde survival games and this one's a pretty solid entry. The slime companion mechanic is really fun and adds a unique twist. The graphics look great and it runs smooth even on my older phone. And I like that it's free to play without being super pushy on the microtransactions. But I do find the progression gets a bit repetitive and grindy after a while. And the ads can get annoying if you don't pay. Overall though, it's a fun little time-killer that strategy fans will probably enjoy.
