And there’s also gardening challenges and events where you compete against other players. And you can collect seeds and grow your plant collection – it’s kind of like a gardening collection game.

Look, if you’re into relaxing, creative games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it’s a nice little game that lets you express your inner landscaper. Worth checking out.

So here's my take on Garden Joy: Design Game. I've tested a bunch of gardening and home design apps, and this one's pretty solid. The graphics look great and it runs smoothly, even on my older phone. And there's a ton of strategic depth in terms of planning out your garden and getting the right plant combos, but it never feels overwhelming. The free-to-play model is also pretty fair - you don't need to spend money to enjoy the full game. The only real downside is that it can get a little repetitive after a while, and the upgrade/progression system is a bit slow. But overall, if you're looking for a relaxing, creative gardening sim, I'd definitely recommend giving this a try.
