So here's my honest take on GBA.emu (GBA Emulator). I've tested a bunch of emulator apps and this one's pretty much the best I've found for GBA games. The performance is super smooth, even on older phones, and the emulation is rock solid. I also really like how customizable the controls are - you can set it up just how you want. Not gonna lie though, the UI is a little basic and the ads can get annoying if you don't pay. But overall, it's a really solid option if you want to relive those old-school handheld classics.

Description

Been using GBA.emu (GBA Emulator) for a couple months now. It’s basically a super advanced open-source emulator that lets you play classic Game Boy Advance games on your phone. Pretty solid app if you’re into retro gaming.

Here’s what you do: you can load up your old GBA game files and start playing. There’s also support for cheat codes, Bluetooth controllers, and even hardware sensors like the accelerometer. It’s got a really minimalist UI but it gets the job done. And the low audio/video latency is great – no annoying lag or stuttering.

Look, if you’re into classic handheld games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the on-screen controls can be a little finicky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to play your old GBA favorites on the go.
