Great game, great characters, and fun gameplay, although the gacha part isn't very f2p friendly and isn't in your favor Edit: I've been playing this game since launch, and honestly, although it isn't the worst gacha I've played, it most certainly isn't the best. the game is poorly optimized with way too many in-game menus, meaning it takes ages just to get around. and there's so much more I could complain about, but sadly, I dont have enough room to type it all out.

After 4 months i give up, after maxing out my nikkes i can't even reach the last chapter in story mode, I'm on 24/34 now, i have to wait a month to attempt further because of the only remaining way to continue growing is through events and the "recycling" option. Gotta pay a hell lot if u wanna catch up with money. Don't get it wrong it's a great game, love the characters!, great story, i want to see it through myself, but the growth wall requires ff lot of patience and daily grinds.

Don't get me wrong. It's a great game for what it is. But their optimization when it comes to loading in, (seriously it's over a minute just to start the game!!) and the loading screens, it just takes SO LONG for you to loading into everything! It does get to me, like why should it take a few seconds to go to another menu when most online mobile games are almost instant. If they can improve the UI experience and make things faster, that will be great!

since playing the game around launch, it's been a fun experience, but there's definitely a need to reduce the difficulty on the enemies. there shouldn't be a enemy type that doesn't take damage for a short time only for a game over screen because it's shield still remains. now im at 33 with these ball drone enemies that dodge and bounce all around the screen to KO one or two nikkes. I'm not running a meta team. I just want to get through the story. fix the difficulty.

Let me lead off with a huge complaint. The recruitment gacha in this game sucks. The feature character never has more than a 2% chance of being drawn and it doesn't get better no matter how many times you try. You can "buy" it after 200 trys. Costume gacha is pure money grab. You can ONLY get those spending real money (min $20 usually $60) All other aspects of this game are wonderful. The art, game play, stories, character interactions, everything else is great. I keep playing for those reasons.

I've been playing this game every single day since installed. I wish I could view my account playtime, but I average at 30 hours last month. amazing gameplay, not only the gunplay, but also the stories and squad building. it's very fair compared to other games and has amazing collabs as well, absolutely worth your time. and yes, you can absolutely progress and get an insane amount of content playing for free.

I don't think I've ever encountered such a predatory game. Abysmal drop rates, exorbitant costs ($10 for ONE pull in the recent Red Hood event), and yet they prey on people taken in by the imagery in the game and who are addicted to the gambling mechanic. On top of this, the core gameplay is not very good; the fights are basically the same thing over and over, but the devs obfuscate this by throwing so many things to do at you that you won't spend much time playing the core game anyway.

memory saver mode helps a lot with the crashes. But there's still a steep drop off of content once you hit certain walls, and you're going to be doing more events getting the chance at resources to progress than actually playing the main game. Maybe if story mode comes out, that'll change. DO NOT SPEND GEMS ON LIBERATION MODE, NO CHARACTER IS WORTH IT. There's a big update coming soon so I'll update the review when those changes come out.

I've gotta give it three stars despite how much I enjoy this game simply due to lack of content once you get to a certain point in the story. it's basically do your dailies and then log off cuz other than pvp which is more of the same once you get there, there's nothing to do. no money farm, core farm, etc. what you get in dailies if your stuck at a certain point in the story and you've finished all your other little bits of content is all you get per day.

Level grinding is next to impossible. Also I'm sure Shift Up just had all the costumes available all the time people would purchase them, twenty dollars for a costume is way too much, that is pure greed. The pull rates are a bit bad, at this point just give me the option to buy character immediately but I understand Shift Up wants a lot of money like Nintendo, unreasonably. I have been playing since the game came out and had to pause it for several months just from burn out of being unsatisfied.

Performance and quality of this game does occasionally degrade but the development team has been decent at eventually resolving the issues. The shop "discount" pop-ups are annoying. Otherwise, I enjoy the systems of this gacha game more than most, it's not grindy, and dailies aren't overbearing, so it's easy to play this game in the long term without burnout. Pulling for characters also isn't too bad; it's easy to stay FTP and still get most characters but skins and gems are on the pricier side.

I'm not a fan of gatcha games or pay to win. This is my first game like this. In essence, it's a waifu collector game. The shooter/upgrade min-maxing is just a cover for the true reason to play. This game has plenty to do without having to pay out $$ as long as you have the patience to play daily. I have spent some $$ on features like the events that give costumes at the end of their run. Those are good. The costume gatcha is trash. There is no reward unless you pay $60+ to exhaust all prizes!!

Gameplay is fun and the dialogue, character, and story is pretty engaging and interesting. What's holding it back is lack of event diversity and seems the devs might be getting lazy, only time will tell. Edit: 5 stars now, the game is great and events are very interesting and fun nowadays. Highly recommended for the story it's very captivating and you can get lost in lore theorizing.

Fun at first but eventually you'll get stuck and will need to get copies of some of your characters in order to progress through the game. The leadeboards is also a silly showcase of who spends the most in your server. Each character has a unique story which is interesting. If you plan to play a game for years in order to progress through the story and log in daily to do daily chores then this is the game for you.

Honestly, it's a really good game, gameplay wise. But falls massively behind many modern gachas by having terrible purchase options (30 pulls or less only and does not get better the higher the purchase price), and a lack of normalized pity systems (80 draws or less is standard, this game does 200 for it's pity system while also not having a lot of pulls per month or ways to purchase pulls easily). If they resolve these two issues and put themselves in line with other gacha, easily 5 stars.

The game itself is pretty good. The character models are fun and the characters are enjoyable. I just have a few gripes regarding the number of pulls you end up getting... there's just not enough free banner pulls, and the price to buy them is prohibitively expensive and not worth it given the odds of paying to get nothing. Would be nice if they added some ways to earn more free event banner pulls in game.

I didn't want to change this, but I have to. whoever has been writing the events doesn't seem to understand how to write for a game that's so reliant on people getting attached to a character. if you happen to like one of the characters they do, then you're safe. Otherwise, the writing feels so foreign and out of character that it WILL make you resent not just characters but the game as a whole. While I still think the gameplay is fun, seeing my favorite character mishandled is saddening.

I'm surprised how good this is. It's a mobile game. In app purchase prices are kind of high. But it's easy to roll along without spending a dime and build up over time. So much stuff to do, a surprisingly deep story. I love the action gameplay, the characters are endearing, and even the weird exploration puzzles of the Lost Sector provide variety. Always updating, always new events that reward generous upgrade materials and expand the lore or a character in ways big and small. Great game!

Solid story, but the gameplay is just alright. They don't really explain any of the combat well and a lot of the bosses feel like a guess and check so if you're looking to "get good" you'll have to use a guide. A lot of content is just a stat check though so casuals with enough CP can plow through most things. Pretty generous on currency and rates, but scrolling around all the menus for dailies is cumbersome. Overall, the setting and writing are worth sticking around for.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this game! It's art style is amazing, as well as it's story! BUT, there's this one issue I keep running into as of late (which gets fixed when I uninstall and reinstall it, but I REALLY don't wanna do that EVERY time I wanna play it): I keep getting a "System Error" message whenever I load up the game and try connecting to the/my server! Can SOMEONE please fix this issue? (I've also restarted my device along with reinstalling it, but I shouldn't have to every time I load it up)
