great fun...and competitive! I "thought" this game was an excellent challenge, but like most things in life, I have ended up being disappointed. As others have stated, I too found that it apparently necessary to keep spending money just to be competitive. I finally decided enough was enough, and I am no longer competitive at the so-called "Professional" level because of the superior "equipment" of opponents. I also found that even when hitting great shots I was no longer rewarded. I AM DONE.

UPDATED REVIEW: game has so many issues and collecting coins from other players completely restarts my game and I have to try to send 2 to 3 times before it finally goes thru. And the jumping needle as soon you hit it on perfect so by the time it actually hits the ball it's no longer a perfect shot cuz the needle has jumped to great just like that. I've been playing on the same phone for a year and this a recent issue.

This game is pay to play rip off. Everything goes great when you first start playing and purchasing things to upgrade your clubs and balls. Then, when you don't, you start losing games or not making shots, while your opponent makes it, example, same chip shot and wind, you lose. I'm not giving Electronic Arts any more money, I'm getting out before I go to deep spending money, already been down that road playing King of Avolon. Save yourself the heartache, peace out.

I have really enjoyed this game over the years, but it is starting to get unplayable. I like to play the daily quick 9 tournaments, but I have had nothing but issues with them keeping accurate scores. Also, they have been having issues with entering the quick 9. I'll pay my coins to enter, play a few holes, then go back later, and it tells me that I haven't completed the round, so I get no rewards, although there's still hours left. Fix your game.

I want to love this game. the concept the developers have put together is top-notch outstanding. Here is the thing "fore" me, it is not pick up and play in the long run. Yes, as a beginner, you can make miracle shots because the algorithm allows it. I am a pure player, I do not use outside apps to help me. I have played this game with just experience and practice. The devs have had to cheapen the gaming experience because of outside apps and aids. Good luck in the long game.....

After about a hundred bucks and easily hundreds of hours into the game, on June 7 th, the game stopped allowing me to open chests with items I won as well as the free chests, and then stopped delivering the items I purchased! I contacted support over 15 times for issues and the always gave the same answer, " we are sorry and we will look into it". The purchased items were more than 24 hours late, or just never showed up, though they claimed by "reassuring" me my items would be delivered. LIES.

At first the game was super fun to play. But as it went on it was basically pay to play, they match you up with people that have dumped money into it. I was winning at first but after awhile it stopped. Got to like 140 trophys and then dropped to like 60. It was only until I spent gems to buy stuff I started winning again. To me that is ridiculous, you should be able to play the game without buying stuff. They need to pair players equally also. Be aware when you download this game its pay to win

I suppose I shouldn't tell everyone how this game went from top grade excellence, to garbage in a short span, but it may help someone. I went from couldn't wait to play, to a sense of dread and anger just thinking about playing it. Support/help went from excellent to literally non-existent! amongst a host of other problems. Maybe instead of being so money grabbing you can fix the bugs! Like not receiving rewards or the fact the screen will freeze in middle of a shot. We dont get credit but the game will take your gold and trophies. Also, it seems im almost always go first on showdown. I have deleted and then re-downloaded 3 different times now over the last 4 months.

Every time I make any purchase, the game CRASHES and can no longer play. All I get is a strobing screen and can open no part of the game any longer. as a result, cannot complete any tournaments, challenges, or even play the game. Accept people's money, but lose all access; ONLY happens after a purchase. I'd appreciate my real money refunded.
