You watch an ad at the beginning of a level for a handful of power ups. Then you're forced to watch multiple ads during every level because you need plenty of power ups to beat said level. The game increases level difficulty by adding timed special orders that you can opt out of by watching an ad. You finally beat the level then you watch an ad afterwards only to collect coins at the end of the level that you can increase up to 4x by watching yet another ad!!!!
Reviews for Grill Sort - Food Sort Games
← Back to Grill Sort - Food Sort GamesI like it so far, but could you add an option like a relax mode without a time limit, and also with the orders? Maybe if we can’t complete the orders, instead of making it game over immediately, just make it so we don’t get the bonus. I’m still on a lower level, but it already feels really chaotic and stressful. I just want to enjoy playing this game without feeling panicked or under pressure
The time limit of every average level is calibrated so you will run out shortly before you finish, and thus will have to watch an ad to finish. What's more there are multiple compulsory time limit bonus task that is also time limited, meaning you'll be watching atleast two ads *before* completing a level, then one after. It makes the game unplayable, thus had been deleted.
Honestly, it's a fun game. it's timed so not what I would call casual. It's a little pushy with ads, though, since you end up needing them to skip impossible orders, get items or to continue. I'm sure some of my issues were just challenges in gameplay, but when an order pops up for items I no longer have on the board more than once, it seems a little flawed. Still, overall a fun game if you have the time to focus and watch ads.
It was cute looking and fun in the beginning, which gets you hooked, but when I progressed i spent more time watching ads than playing the game which means it's no longer a game. levels made 'challenging' to make sure you watch more ads for less time than the ads run for multiple timers and gimmicks on the same level, usually 2 ads at a time. you watch an ad to start a level and watch an ad when you win. fun concept, very annoying execution.
the game is great but the timers are ridiculously short amd you have to watch adds to extend them. every 30 seconds. it takes 30 mins to complete a 5 min scene which. that's if your good at the game. way too many adds. between the timers and the adds its a total waste of time and energy. if they ditched the ads and timers it would be a decent game.
there is a timer that you have to beat which on it's own isn't bad but it continues running while youre in an ad. I would just restart but I was curious if adding time for customers with ads took from the level time. theres also ads after every level after the first couple levels. to my understanding levels didn't used to have a timer either. it felt artificially hard, and I have never experienced losing so many lives in the first few levels. it's quite honestly not fun or actually challenging.
They really need to correct the phrase when time has run out from "Time is running out," which means you still have time to something like "Time Expired." Also, sometimes you can't tell when a customer has shown up until the timer is running down because there are not always visual cues. While the ads are annoying, what I'd pay for is an option to play without timed rounds.
I really love the concept of this game and keep wanting to play it more. However, recently the game keeps closing and not working, if it doesn't close, it makes my phone very hot and it lags especially when there are people who want orders done. Then if it gets my phone hot, the phone completely turns off, I've been trying to pass the same level for a few days but every time I try to play, it lags and then closes the app and if I try again it overheats my phone and turns it off.
Too many ads I can't even finish a game with having to watch about 10 to 15 ads to help me get to the next level. I enjoyed it when I first downloaded it though. they also don't give you enough coins to even keep up with purchases during a level cost too much. I finally decided to delete this game. Good game, the ads are just too much to deal with.
The game itself is fun, but once you get above a certain level (I'm now at 75) it has way too many elements to keep track of and timers everywhere, necessitating continual ads. When I pay money to remove interrupting ads (which I did), I don't expect to have to watch 5 per level. Watching ads *far* exceeds playing time, which really takes away from what is otherwise a fun game.
I wish I could give 0 or negative stars. The ads are ridiculous. Not only do you get a video ad every level but also mid game, you get a pop-up ad that covers half your screen, and the timer keeps going . Edit. I guess I didn't explain well enough. it not me touching the bottom banner ad. it's the install page of different games.
Pretty fun up until about level 50-60, then it just becomes BS. The order-up time parameters devolve into a guess-and-check grind. At least have those items be somewhat visible and not buried under three layers of "How the hell am I supposed to know which of the 10 rotating grills that's supposed to be under?" For a free game though, a solid 30 levels are still pretty fun but after that it's pay-to-win or ad spam.
This is a really fun and unique game. The only problem is I've literally watched 10 videos on a hard level that I've been trying to pass for awhile. if it take 10 plus videos or that I have to use real money to win, to try and pass the hard level, that's bad business practices. this game is a watch- a- video trap. You've been warned.
It's a really good game, and ads are tolerable. Right up to level 152, then I find myself watching ad after ad to get what is needed to finish the board. Level 151 or 152 never did give what was needed to play the board. watched ads right until the last move, which cleared the board to next level. Then it started again with the next level, no plays so watch ads, and the ads have gotten longer. So good game and a nice challenge up to that level. But uninstalling.
A lot of fun in trying to match the food together. It is also difficultly to get the match for food at times as well. This is true when the customer comes in and wants there order, but food isn't there to give to them. The time goes to fast once you move forward making it difficult to keep up. Need to improve the extra moves that help in game.
I loved the game..At first! But then I found myself having to literally watch 10 ads per board just to get help to take some of the food items off the board! It's ridiculous how you have to watch an ad before playing every board but you also have to watch that many ads per board just to get help!!! I loved it while it lasted but Im uninstalling. They took the fun out of the game!!!
I love that I can play offline!!! I can't watch ads for extra rewards or time, but at least I can play without the Internet. This game is challenging enough to keep you interested, but not so hard you don't even want to play. I started playing from a playable ad on my TextNow app. Eventually I downloaded it because you can only get so far in the ad. They sure know how to reel you in. Got a keep them wanting more, lol. I would recommend this game!!!
They made this game overly challenging, at the beginning it starts out fine, but they just keep adding on to it, so not only are you playing beat the clock, but then you also have orders you have to pay close attention to in a short amount of time which some items are hidden so good luck finding said items, then they add on a box that is "just for storage" SERIOUSLY? Thanks for that, it was already challenging enough. Now it's just pissing me off, so bye bye game. uninstalled.
Great until about level 15. Ads get longer and more frequent. When you get orders, they are always something you can't finish without power-ups, ads, or coins. They also intentionally stack trays so that what you need is too buried to get to without power-up or ads to open a new space. It would be a cool game if it wasn't stacked against you from the jump.
