Description
Been playing Heroll : Dice Roguelike for a couple months now. It’s basically a dice-based roguelike where you’re trying to rebuild a destroyed village. Sounds pretty crazy, I know, but it’s actually super addictive.
The way it works is you roll dice and move around this board, exploring different areas and battling enemies. And there’s also base-building elements where you can upgrade your village and recruit new people. It’s got a lot of strategic depth without being too overwhelming. And the random board layout and events keep things feeling fresh each time you play.
Look, if you’re into roguelikes or just want a fun casual game to pick up and play, you’ll probably like Heroll. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out for sure.
Editor Opinion
I've tested a bunch of dice-based roguelike games and Heroll is one of the better ones I've found. The gameplay loop is really satisfying, with just the right balance of strategy and randomness. And the graphics look great and it runs smoothly even on my older phone. My only real gripe is that the progression can feel a bit grindy at times, but it's nothing game-breaking. Overall, a pretty solid roguelike that's perfect for quick sessions.
