Description
Been playing Homescapes for a couple months now. It’s basically a match-3 puzzle game where you restore this dude’s old mansion room by room. Basically, you make matches to earn coins and stars, then use those to fix up the different rooms. There’s also an actual story going on with the butler character – it’s kinda charming.
The match-3 gameplay is pretty solid. There’s tons of different boosters and power-ups to use, and the levels get progressively more challenging. You can also compete in limited-time events against other players. Plus, the decorating part is fun – you can customize all the rooms however you want.
Look, if you’re into casual match-3 games with a little home decor twist, you’ll probably dig Homescapes. It’s not perfect – the upgrades and stuff take forever if you don’t pay – but overall it’s a pretty good time-killer. Worth checking out for sure.
Editor Opinion
I've tested a bunch of match-3 games, and Homescapes is one of the better ones in my opinion. The core gameplay loop is really satisfying, and I like how they blend in the home restoration aspect. And the graphics are polished and it runs smoothly even on my older phone. My only real gripe is that the monetization gets a bit heavy-handed at higher levels, but you can still enjoy the game without spending. Overall, it's a solid casual puzzler that's perfect for short play sessions.
