So here's my honest take on Hyper Light Drifter - S.E.. I've tested a bunch of action RPGs and this one's right up there with the best of them. The combat is super tight and responsive, and the challenge level is just right - tough but not frustratingly hard. The art style is also incredible, one of the best looking pixel games I've seen. My only real complaint is that it can get a little repetitive after a while, but if you're looking for a high quality action adventure, this is definitely worth your time.

Description

Been playing Hyper Light Drifter – S.E. for a couple months now. It’s basically a slash-’em-up game where you explore a gorgeous pixel art world, fight enemies, and try to survive. Pretty solid app if you’re into challenging action games.

Here’s what you do: you can roam around, fight off bad guys, and upgrade your character. There’s also a really cool multiplayer mode where you can team up with friends and battle other clans. And the graphics – they’re insane, looks like a playable retro anime. Took me a while to get the hang of the controls but once you do, it’s smooth sailing.

Look, if you’re into action RPGs with a focus on exploration and combat, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the progression does get a bit grindy at higher levels – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out for sure.
