Good for the price, but late game is mediocre. The first campaign is a lot of fun and truly enjoyable, but when you get to the gauntlet it's just repetitive. Not only is it repetitive, it's tough because while it does require some skill it heavily relies on luck to get decent enough cards to even have a chance at winning. I'd love to see some other progression system in the game. It's not fun to just draw path cards and hardly ever get towers. Overall good game though!

Almost perfect. The main campaign and daily challenges are entertaining as can be. The art style is simple yet lovely. The only thing holding this game back is the gauntlet missions. Some of the levels are nearly impossible to beat with the randomization. Defeat due to lack of knowledge or experience is great because you can make up for that through practice. Losing because luck didn't favor you is unsatisfying. I really enjoy this game. Please consider adjusting it to compensate for RNG.

Great bones, needs more work. The gameplay and ideas are fun, and really addictive for the first few hours. But once you've completed the core levels, it gets less interesting. I wish there was more to do with all the cards, and ways to get interesting cards more often, or even build your own deck. And I wish there was more variety to the difficulty, which always comes down to, "there's limited space to build and you might not draw good cards."

I hate this game sometimes and it's so perfect too. The faction variations are cool and change the game a lot. I wish the road building was slightly less restrictive. Also would love unlimited save files, sometimes you make a run breaking decision and it sucks and at l moment you can't do anything about it and that game is just lost to the void. It would be awesome to be able to play it again correctly instead. Also there should be a real time game log. Thanks!

A good game, no microtransactions, no pay to win, no ads, just a good game you buy once. The tower variety and challenge modes give a lot of replayability, the only complaint I could have is that sometimes I feel like a loss was entirely up to RNG, but that's not too common and I kept playing until I got 100% of the game complete. Would buy again.

Really fun starting out, but then after the tutorial you realize that it's too luck-based. There are many fun combos, but you'll almost never get to use them. If you could pick which cards are in your stack, this could be a really fun game. Maybe make a minimum deck size and allow us to put cards in that work together. Also, allow us to block paths

Very good game. Good mechanics and building islands is very fun. Limit of 40 rounds is a bit sad because i want to build so much more. Hope im not just missing longer modes. Controls are responsive and ive only had one slip up accidentally selecting something i didnt want so far. Top teir mobile game. Good simple fun. No Ad hell. Would pay for this.

As a longtime TD fan who's played all the classics, this game brings a new twist to a great genre. Rating 5 starts for using a purchase model with no ads or micro transactions, and its offline. The game plays like a tower defense where you get cards to place towers and paths each round. Because you're building the path and there's randomness, you need to be strategic where you place. You can spend money to dig deeper into upcoming cards and get them early. It all works together nicely.

update: after more time, there's in many ways a lack of decisions to be made. there's no way to influence your deck or tweak targeting so you kind of just have to take what you can get. super luck reliant in this way. the game is fantastic, but please add an undo button. I just lost a fantastic run because I cut off my endpoint and had all ten enemies in wave 39 spawn onto the end.

Great game. Surprisingly well balanced for how many elements there are and how many ways those elements interact. But the way the frequencies of cards are weighted needs some serious work... Especially in gauntlet mode... I feel like it just shouldn't be possible to go through 20 or even 30 cards and not get a single straight piece... Then when i do get one, all of a sudden it's only straight pieces, but i just needed the 1. I'm at 83% on gauntlet and my sanity is suffering.

I love the game concept. Building the path is rare in TD. You should try it! It works well. Feedback: For me, lack of resources... or the slow trickle of options makes this game plod along and get very claustrophobic quickly. It does not allow for enough creativity. e.g. so many limits on placement, if no scarce bombs player is very stuck. Unforgiving for tiny errors. Maybe less water, more bombs, more access to an occasional rescue resource. Not suggesting nerf the challenge.

I am obsessed with this game. Finally, a real challenge! With all the different levels and categories there is a lot to play, and no buying anything for once. One of the better games out there. Not sure why some people are nitpicking about tile restrictions or whatever, seems kind of whiny. And yes, the tiles and cards are random, that makes it more interesting, you really have to strategize to survive. I say, whatever ups the challenge, bring it on!

Initially very fun, but it quickly becomes ridiculously difficult and your success hinges entirely on luck and getting the cards you need when you need them. You end up having to replay with the same modifiers over and over and over and over (ad nauseum) in the hopes that you'll eventually maybe get perfectly lucky. Plus, this game absolutely COOKS my battery, and that's on the lowest graphics settings. Between those issues, I've had enough and uninstalled.

Has a lot of potential. the graphics are beautiful, the idea is fresh and perfect for small form devices. There are a few rules that annoy me. first, building corner pieces is a pain. if we could drop tiles caddy corner to structures, I feel would make it more possible to utilize corner tiles and help plan your path better. also, if I want a path to end at a demolishable tile, that should be my decision and not hard stop. Also, why can't a path tiles demolish other tiles?

I've played a lot of tower defense games. This one is unique and has serious longevity. I just completed the difficult gauntlet mode and had such a blast. It's a perfect game to play a couple rounds for a few minutes or to play for an hour trying to build different things. It's fun to find different emergent combinations and build patterns. I just really can't rave about this game enough, I don't review games lol but this one deserves it, I'm very surprised it only has 4.1 stars.

I love this game and enjoy it everyday. It is challenging but so satisfying to win a level. I sometimes find it frustrating that the second and third paths appear, as they often bring on my demise, but the more I play, the more I learn what works best. I do wish there was a sandbox or endless mode as I'd like to chill with the little towns I'm creating. I've not made it in the leaderboard yet for the daily challenge but I enjoy trying as done days are easier than others. Lovely graphics too.

The game relies too much on random (tile) generation for my taste. This can't be called a strategy game, but more like "how much luck do you have" game. Positive is that it can be played offline, it's a single purchase without any micro transactions. Since it's promoted as the strategy game I strongly disagree that heavy RNG is "strategic".

Worth the price if you like tower defense. The game is unforgiving and forces you to fail to learn, so you will lose before you manage to pass levels. Factions completely change the way the levels are played, and the diverse amount of tiles and content ensures you will always have something to do. Also, the art style is fantastic.

I find the RNG aspect of this game disappointing. The number of times I lose because every single tower or trap i get is attached to a water tile, or I never get the path tile I need is way too often. I wish there were more single tower tiles, and they weren't as rare as they are. As it is right now It makes it feel every match ends up with a similar layout, and there is little room for creativity with tile/tower placements. Due to the water tiles making it so restrictive.

Great tower defense game. It does need more, like a sandbox mode, a mode where the map is pregenerated and just general content but if you're looking for a unique tower defense, look no further. I've played sooo many tower defense games over the years and this is the first in a very long time to keep me interested for any period of time. I find myself coming back despite completeling all of the campaign.
