So here's my take on Kanji Swipe. I've tested a bunch of educational games and this one's actually pretty solid. The core gameplay loop is simple but addictive, and I like how it teaches you Kanji in a natural way instead of just drilling vocabulary. The graphics are nice and polished too. But it does get a bit repetitive after a while, and the progression can feel slow if you don't pay. Overall though, if you're into language learning or just want a fun little puzzle game, this is worth checking out.

Pros

  • Tons of Kanji characters to learn and arrange
  • Built-in dictionary is super helpful for meanings and pronunciations
  • Progression has a good difficulty curve to keep you challenged
  • Free to play, no need to spend money to enjoy it

Cons

  • Ads can get annoying if you don't pay for the ad-free version
  • Starts to feel a bit repetitive after playing for a while
  • Upgrading and progressing takes a long time at higher levels

Description

Been playing Kanji Swipe – Tile Puzzle Game for a couple months now. It’s basically a sliding puzzle game where you gotta arrange Kanji characters by stroke order. Pretty cool way to learn Japanese writing if you’re into that sort of thing.

Here’s how it works: you swipe the tiles around to create new Kanji characters. There’s also a built-in dictionary so you can check the meaning and pronunciation of each one. It’s got a ton of levels to keep you busy. And the challenges get pretty tricky the further you go, which is nice.

Look, if you’re studying for the JLPT or just wanna play with some cool-looking characters, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it’s a pretty solid way to have fun and learn Kanji at the same time.
