Description
Been playing Kavel for a couple months now. It’s basically a puzzle arcade game with a twist – you’ve got Tetrominos from classic block games and the possibility space of your favorite match-3 obsession. Basically a fresh new puzzle experience.
Here’s what you do: you rotate and drag the Tetromino to place it onto the puzzle grid. There’s also an endless mode where you can try to get the highest score among your friends. And you can go for the achievements – there’s something here for everyone.
Look, if you’re into casual puzzle games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and it can get a bit repetitive after a while – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Kavel. I've tested a bunch of puzzle games and this one's a pretty solid entry. The gameplay is simple to pick up but there's actually a good amount of strategic depth once you start climbing the leaderboard. And it's free to play too, which is nice. On the downside, I found the ads a little annoying if you don't pay, and the progression can start to feel grindy after a while. But if you're just looking for a casual puzzle game to mess around with, Kavel is worth a download.
