Reviews for Kingdom Rush Origins TD

← Back to Kingdom Rush Origins TD

this is a world class tower defense game I'll be making another review of the game a little later next week maybe if you like TD games you'll like this one and it's a classic.

I have been playing kingdom rush for years ever since kingdom rush 1 was a flash game. I love this game and really appreciate the developers commitment to selling a complete experience of a game.

the game doesn't persist the battle state, and many levels take 20-25 minutes to complete. If you need to take a break in the middle of the game and come back to it in a while, chances are that you will have to start over.

It's definitely not my favorite of the series. still only 2 survival maps, and it's a much shorter campsign than frontiers. also, dogs can run right past troops in this game, which is beyond stupid. this also costs money, where as some of the others are free and offer more.

fun game but there should be a fail safe mechanism /auto save during the middle of a round so that way if it crashes you dont have to fully restart the whole level. it crashed on me after finally finding a correct way to beat a certain level

For a regular (when not on discount) price of 3,40€, I'd expected less greed in the game. Many heroes (maybe to be unlocked later on in the game?) that can be bought for real money, a gem currency to buy power ups which are very soon needed, cc if you want to get 3 stars or win the challenges (unless I'm just not good enough for normal difficulty). Yes, there are no forced video ads, but neither are there in other free2play games. Still a nice game, but I'd expected more when buying.

Good game, good story but too hard for moi - cannot complete on normal - however there is an easy mode, howevverrrr i lothe to use it, i always finish games on medium mode or sometimes hard. Never easy. Its too hard. My second issue is that one - myself namely and others i would imagine, cannot see clearly the enemies and allies - i sometimes think ive got 2 more to kill only to realize its mine own reinforcements.. different coloured hp bars wouldnt go amiss.

Both one of the best TD and mobile games out there. While the difficulty of certain levels, such as the iron challenges, can be quite frustrating, the overall experience and quality of the game easily makes up for it. While the enemy design is more limited than the original, the superior hero design and more engaged gameplay quite possibly put it above the original. I do wish that the premium heros could be obtained without purchases, such as through completing challenges, I still like the game.

Kingdom Rush Origins is yet another amazing addition to the KR series. The new environments are breath-takingly fresh. The towers in this game are the most balanced out of the three games allowing for the most strategy instead of resorting to the most OP towers. Kingdom Rush Origins also has the best heroes out of all of the games with the great addition of hero's abilities that impact the game tremendously! Ironhide, thanks for the amazing game!

The third Kingdom Rush in the series, if you haven't played the previous two they're fun as well, unfortunately, something felt a little off with some of the towers. Hopefully over time new content will be added, (maybe using towers from the previous, previous two games) if you played Kingdom Rush or Frontiers, you'll maybe like Kingdom Rush Origins

App is really fun, interactive with hidden quests and gems, and in app purchases for faster gameplay and better heroes. Would be a 5* but with so many additional heroes, and no way to get them aside from spending money is a shame. There should be a diamond purchase amount along with a money amount for quick purchase since you need the stronger heroes for the harder levels. Please fix this issue!!😥

It's a very fun tower defense game! The only down side is most of the powerful units you get to control are behind microtransactions that you have to pay to even use them. There's also gems you can buy with real money as well. Not a fan of that, but if you can see past that, you can still get through the game no problem without spending more money.

The series is back, and it's better than ever! I just stumbled on the game after a while, I'm engrossed in it now. There are stars to upgrade your troops as you progressed further into the lvls, with challenging monsters along the way. It might seem daunting at first, but when you won the campaign, it's highly rewarding! There are also many heroes to choose from and strategize with. You should definitely try this game out; it will be worth your time!

Kingdom Rush is one of the better tower defense games, though I didn't enjoy it as much as their last one. One thing that was annoying; how some of the stages paths were jumbled and you wouldn't know which path to upgrade. It did add a bit of a challenge, which is good for any game worth dL-ing, but as I said, it was annoying. It'd be nice if there was a "5 more waves" option to buy with the leftover stars. On some stages, right when it gets really interesting, it's over. Good game overall.

This game suffers from a bit of greed. If you buy every hero that costs like 30 dollars. And then you still can spend money on gems. You guys released a 15 dollar Steam version with no microtransactions. I'd like to buy that, but on mobile. Can't I pay more to upgrade to a progression-based unlock system? Can't I get the full product without being price-gouged?

I almost want to say it's better than Frontiers, but it's along side it, it is different. Origins has a lot of levels, and a lot of click-ables. I'm not much an elf fan maybe that is the case. Not a lot of nuetral purchasable guys, but a lot of clickable power-ups. Origins is very replayable as well, with many different combinations to win a level. The purchasable heros are ok, nothing too spectacular, but I do love the personality that went into each one. Purchasing the heros pack is worthwhile

If you enjoy tower defense games where you have to stay busy during the attack phase then you'll really enjoy this game. It's exciting rather than relaxing (it's not a "set it and forget it' type of tower defense game). You have to stay busy during the attack, there's lots of strategy involved, and there are different approaches you can take to solving each attack depending on your playstyle. You can upgrade both heroes and towers with different skills. I will be replaying this many times.

Love it so far! Fun and way more challenging than I was expecting. Love the art and design of it too. My only complaint is that you're expected to buy additional heros with physical money, instead of being able to earn them as you play or buy them with an in-game currency. Feel like a game that you already have to buy shouldn't have very many in-app purchases... and I'm sure many others will agree.

So it's a dollar to buy the game. I've been playing tower defense games since warcraft 3 and this game does really well for the price point and the experience. The game could use more tower diversity, but the good news is that the only benefit to having the 'option' to buy gems is that you can buy items which can be accrued normally through decent game play, not, 'your building will be upgraded in six hours'. Overall fun and a good tower defense game all things considered.

A great tower defense game that I have enjoyed quite a bit. Would definitely be easily a 5 star game if it weren't for 2 main things that rub me the wrong way. 1. Even though I payed for this game it still wants money for characters, which just feels greedy. I would happily pay more for the game initially if it was possible to earn things through achievement rather than requiring a purchase. 2. I cannot play my music in the background. anything you do in game pauses it. Just... why?
