Description
Been playing KOF ’95 ACA NEOGEO for a couple months now. It’s basically a classic 2D fighting game from the NEOGEO days, but now you can play it on your phone. Pretty solid app if you’re into retro games and fighting games.
Here’s what you do: you choose from a roster of fighters and duke it out in 1-on-1battles. And there’s also an online ranking mode, which is pretty cool. And you can customize the virtual controls to play more comfortably on a touchscreen.
Look, if you’re a fan of old-school fighting games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the graphics can look a little dated – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want a nostalgic arcade experience on your phone.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on KOF '95 ACA NEOGEO. I've tested a bunch of retro fighting game apps and this one's pretty solid. The controls feel responsive, the graphics have that classic NEOGEO look, and the online mode adds some nice replayability. But I will say that it can get a little repetitive after a while, and the upgrades/progression is pretty grindy. Still, if you're craving some old-school 2D fighting action, this is a great option.
