I’ve been playing KOF ’96 ACA NEOGEO for a couple months now. It’s basically a classic fighting game that’s been ported to mobile. Pretty solid app if you’re into retro games and arcade-style fighters.
Here’s what you do: You pick a character from a roster of 27 and battle it out against other players. There’s also an online ranking mode, which is pretty cool. And you can customize the virtual controls – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re into old-school fighting games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the graphics can look a bit dated and the learning curve is pretty steep – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want a taste of that classic NEOGEO vibe.
