Been playing KOF ’98 ACA NEOGEO for a couple months now. It’s basically a classic 90s fighting game that’s been ported to mobile. Pretty solid app if you’re into retro arcade-style fighters.
Here’s what you do – you pick your fighter from a roster of 20+ characters, then duke it out against other players in 3-on-3 team battles. And there’s also an arcade mode if you just wanna play through the story. And you can even compete in online ranked matches, which is pretty cool. Took me a while to figure out all the moves and combos, but it’s satisfying once you get the hang of it.
Look, if you’re a fan of old-school SNK fighters, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the controls can feel a bit stiff at times – but overall it does a great job of capturing the classic KOF experience on mobile.
