Description
I’ve been playing KOF ’99 ACA NEOGEO for a couple months now. It’s basically a classic 2D fighting game that SNK brought over from the NEOGEO console. Pretty solid app if you’re into retro arcade games.
Here’s what you do: You pick a character from the roster and duke it out with other players in one-on-one battles. There’s also an online ranking mode, which is pretty cool. And you can customize the virtual controls to get them feeling just right – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re a fan of the NEOGEO era of fighting games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the graphics can look a little dated at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want some old-school arcade action on your phone.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on KOF '99 ACA NEOGEO. I've tested a bunch of retro fighting game apps and this one's pretty solid. And the classic NEOGEO visuals and gameplay still hold up, and I like that you can customize the controls. It's not the most polished or feature-packed fighter out there, but if you're just looking for some straightforward 2D arcade action, this'll scratch that itch. Just don't expect anything too fancy - it's a pretty straightforward port of the original game.
