Description
Been playing Koi Farm for a couple months now. It’s basically a game where you breed and crossbreed koi fish to create cool new patterns and colors. Pretty relaxing stuff if you’re into that sort of thing.
Here’s what you do: You start with some basic koi and then you can breed them to get new mutations. And there’s also a ‘koi book’ that helps you discover new types to breed for. And you can collect your favorite koi as virtual trading cards – that’s a neat little feature.
Look, if you’re into relaxing sim games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it’s a solid little game that does the job. Worth checking out if you’re looking for something chilled out to play.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Koi Farm. I've tested a bunch of mobile sim games and this one's pretty solid overall. The core breeding and collecting loop is really satisfying, and I like how they've made it easy to discover new koi types. The graphics are great too. On the downside, the progression does get a bit grindy later on, and the ads can be intrusive if you don't pay. But if you're just looking for a casual, relaxing game to mess around with, Koi Farm is worth a try.
