Reviews for Last War:Survival Game

Limited zombie on road action. I've played 32 consecutive days so you don't have to! I installed after ads suggested it was an endless zombie fighting game where you upgrade your fighters and mow down bad guys on the highway. IT IS NOT. It's another castle builder/castle defense that has diminishing amounts of fighting unless you want to spend loads of real money to speed up progress. this game is made to frustrate players with a slow pace to turn them into payers. I'm over it.

great graphics! excellent in action game play! then you go to sleep, everything you spent time learning to do and building is ripped away by other players, not zombies. if you are an adult with responsibilities, it takes too long to rebuild. If you are an 8 year old, have at it! if you have tons of money you can throw away on an app, you will be happy too.

I'm not sure why this and other games have an increased time per level scheme. It makes the game unattractive quickly. Sure it's fun for a moment... but that passes and frustration overtakes that.... not sure how or why developers even consider that route. It's basically self-sabotaging your own game. The inconsistencies that have shown up over time in the game seems as though a trap to get people to throw away money. the game won't load.

In the beginning, after downloading, this was a fun little zombie attacking game. Then, the game was a mix of zombie attacking and base building. Now, it's almost exclusively base building where other players blow your base away and destroy all your troops every day. Stop playing once it starts getting frustrated.

What's in the ads is a small percentage of actual gameplay, and free to play progression seems to become increasingly slow and tedious with gameplay resembling what's in the ads being few and far between. In the frontline breakthrough game modes which seem to be what the ads focus even in the videos on youtube showing how to clear a level seem to be deceptive as they don't indicate the amount of research/perks required to replicate the performance in the videos. Very misleading.

Previously, I had written an unfavorable review of this game, but I have completely changed my mind. This game is complex & full of layers. The shooting part from the ad demo is limited, but there is plenty of strategic gameplay. An important part is joining an alliance which has made all the difference for me with my experience & progression. If you find a good group, you will make friends & have a lot more fun. It takes some time to learn everything, but once you do, it's a great game.

Decent time waster while dropping a deuce. gameplay is actually kind of satisfying, until you hit a wall in progression and have to upgrade your base, then youre stuck waiting 4 hours or paying for a bunch of microtransactions that I'll never buy. UI is overwhelmingly busy, like they tried to cram way too much into the game. Hero models are ai generated slop. Cmon, you can't afford to pay an actual 3d artist to make your characters? Fun game, but has all the trappings of an ig ad cash grab.

GOOD: free with no ads, just like it says. You can win easier by paying for this and that....but it isn't impossible to win for free. just VERY grindy. I'm ok with that. all in all a great time waster. BAD: there is NO offline mode. kind of annoying. and it's an ADHD hell to keep track of everything. lots of things are confusing and/or without explanation.

I was excited when I saw that it was actually the game that so many apps had falsely advertised themselves to be. the first while is a lot of fun, but in a single day you get to a point where you can't move forward without upgrading buildings. You can upgrade one at a time, you might needs 3 or more upgrades before being allowed to make progress again, and the builds take half an hour, prolly more later on. They do this because they want you to pay for convenience. This is just another scam.

another build your base game. Frontline breakthrough missions are stupid hard to the point that they aren't even fun. And lastly, I've seen a lot of money hungry games but this one is the worst! They will put hero's & research centers on your base, but you can't use them unless you pay. Some of the weekly missions are "make a paid purchase." everything in this game will try to get you to spend a lot of money

As a longtime player, I can say that the newest ad where the soldier is shooting from inside a compound has absolutely nothing to do with the game. The old ad was at least a periodic mini game within regular game play (though it's not fun and is my last favorite part of the game). The newest ad is a COMPLETE LIE. The game is still worth playing, but it's not what you're seeing in the new ad. I have played for several seasons, and I'm disappointed in the dishonesty.

The Frontline mini game is gun and part of the whole reason you download the game. To kill zombies. But please, fix the lag issue! The rounds don't move when you have more than 100 guys. You get the mini gunners and they either won't upgrade to mini gunners or they literally won't fire their mini gun rounds at all. Meanwhile, you're being killed by the zombies and all the rounds don't even shift towards them when you're at the end of the level. 3 different phones all have the same issue.

Its predatory. Wants your money. Nothing like the ads. The community is just as bad if you end up in a server with super competitive people. Very very hard to be free to play if you want a chance to keep up with those that do spend money. If you don't take this game seriously and treat it as background noise then thats what it can be. Eats up your time if you aren't careful.

The only thing that isn't that bad about this game is the fact the ads didn't lie. The only thing it didn't say is that it's a mini game and so hard that you don't need skill to beat it but luck. In the main game you build a base and get cards to beat bosses, but to do so you must use money. To make things worst a daily mission is to "make an in-game purchase". Not the worst game but not the best. Also this game broke my phone.

overall, the game is advertised as something it's not. The icon of the game is actually showing a minor very small and increasingly insignificant mini game within a larger one. This game is a resource grinder /tower defense type, but with one sinister trick, the higher level you go, the less competitive you get. this is because you have to pay to play as resources become more scarce, upgrades become more costly.

Has potential. Fun, but there are issues. Frontline Breakthrough glitches and all kills your troops randomly. You have to stop actually playing the fun part of the game (battles) to wait for buildings to finish, and the speed in which you have to level up does not fit the style of game. It seems they want you to spend money to build/level faster, which makes sense as there are no ads. Still playing after two weeks, so hopefully, they continue to improve the game.

There needs to be a patch dealing with Frontline Breakthrough level 13 and 16. Take a look online and see if you're getting positive or negative feedback about these two levels. This is the only part of the game that's fun to play, and you've set up two levels so that you have to play them 1,000 times each and maybe luck works once. Your tutorial video is a complete lie because the zombies die in only two shots (which they do not) and the rate of fire is twice as fast as it is in game.

Yes, the general play is different than I expected. We do get access to the minigames you see in the ads, but we're limited to one successful round. I personally would love a way to replay old levels, especially after I made it past 40. Several boards do feel impossible but if you plug away at it eventually you get the hang of it. I am very much enjoying the alliance aspects of the game. I like doing events. I love that you don't have to spend money to level up. Time invested works just as well.

I bought some items in order to upgrade a character only to find out after I purchase that despite what's shown, the character can't be upgraded yet. I applied for and received a refund (4.99). They removed 1000 diamonds from my stash on the 1st day and blocked my account on the second day. Tried to strong-arm me into repaying the 4.99. Buyer beware. They advertise features that you can't get. Un-installed.

It's crazy that the ads for this game are all about how "It's actually what's advertised!" when it is in fact, not what is advertised. The ads show a simple fun looking game. This game is about building a base and working with your team on an overworld map. When you do actually do the battles advertised, they suck. You play with hero units, not a giant army. There's some army growing stuff, but it is NOT as advertised. If you want to press a bunch of meaningless rewards, go ahead and install.
