Description
Been playing Lawgivers for a couple months now. It’s basically a turn-based political simulation game where you get to run for office, approve laws, and try to corrupt your opponents. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: You pick a party, make promises to the citizens, and then run for elections. Once you’re in parliament, you can vote on laws and try to build alliances with other parties. There’s also the option to secretly bribe or blackmail the other politicians – that can be pretty useful for winning the majority. And if you play your cards right, you might even get to be the president.
Look, if you’re into strategy games with a political twist, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrade grind can get pretty repetitive after a while – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re looking for something new.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Lawgivers. I've tested a bunch of political simulation games and this one's actually pretty solid. The strategic depth is great without being overwhelming, and the graphics look good even on my older phone. The free-to-play model isn't too bad either - you don't have to spend money to enjoy the game. But I will say the upgrade system gets a bit grindy at higher levels, and the ads can be kinda annoying if you don't pay. Overall though, it's a fun time-killer that scratches that strategy itch.
