So here's my honest take on Lifeline. I've tested a bunch of story-driven apps and this one's pretty unique. I like the way it plays out in real-time with those constant notifications - it really sucks you in. The writing is also pretty solid, with some good tension and tough decisions. On the downside, it can get a little repetitive after a while, and the upgrades take forever at higher levels if you don't pay. But overall, it's a really polished, well-made game that I'd recommend to anyone looking for an engrossing choose-your-own-adventure experience.

Description

Been playing Lifeline for a couple months now. It’s basically a survival story game where you help this stranded character named Taylor make life or death decisions after crash landing on an alien moon. Pretty solid app if you’re into choose-your-own-adventure style stories.

Here’s what you do: you get notifications throughout the day with updates from Taylor, and you have to decide what actions they should take to stay alive. There’s also a bunch of dialogue options to keep the story moving, and you can even jump back to earlier points and make different choices. It’s got a really cool real-time element where the story progresses whether you’re actively playing or not.

Look, if you’re into narrative games or just want an addictive time-waster, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
