So here's my honest take on Little Panda's Chinese Recipes. I've tested a bunch of cooking games and this one is a pretty good one. The recipes cover a nice range of classic and specialty Chinese dishes, and the gameplay loop of following the steps to cook each dish is satisfying. The graphics are cute and it runs well. The main downside is that the upgrade/progression system can get a bit grindy, but if you don't mind that, it's a pretty solid option for any Chinese food fans out there.

Description

I’ve been using Little Panda’s Chinese Recipes for a couple months now. It’s basically a cooking game where you can make all sorts of delicious Chinese dishes – from classics like dumplings and noodles, to more fancy stuff like Peking duck and steamed fish. There’s also some fun festive foods and snacks you can try.

The gameplay is pretty straightforward – you just follow the recipes and try to cook the dishes correctly. But there’s actually a good amount of variety and challenge, especially as you unlock more advanced recipes. The graphics are cute and colorful, and it runs smoothly even on my older phone.

Look, if you’re into cooking games or just love Chinese food, you’ll probably get a kick out of this. It’s not perfect – the upgrade system can get a bit grindy at higher levels, and the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it does a solid job of letting you explore Chinese cuisine in a fun, interactive way. Worth checking out for sure.
