I love this game. So much heart was put into it by everyone involved and, despite its challenges, the fighting system is fun and engaging, as well as the story. It's the only otome game I've played where I've gotten attached to characters that weren't love interests. The developers tell such a unique story and I can't wait to see where it goes next.
Reviews for Love and Deepspace
← Back to Love and Deepspaceit's honestly a good game and keeps me entertained for a while. There are still some things that I feel need improvement though. Like the wish pools for events are often a little too random and most don't have reruns making it more difficult to get them. Plus the sleeping feature doesn't allow you to turn off your screen which leaves the device overheating :/
This is a great otome game with a lot of lore and interesting characters. It's a great game to pass the time, and you can invest as much or as little time as you want and not feel like you must do everything every day *at least for me*. The best parts of it imo is the photobooth by far! I like the event minigames too! Gacha is gonna gacha, I wouldn't say its the worst rates ever but depending on your luck can be forgiving or not.
Main story doesnt feel like the focus anymore which is a shame because the story was a huge part of this game for me. Combat is fun, characters have depth and are all interesting and unique, art and animation are amazing. But theres no consistent way for players to earn diamonds, leveling memories can take days or weeks of material farming at higher levels, no banner schedule, reruns are rare and when they do happen, the event games and stories that they originally ran with aren't included.
I am a pre-registration player, and I have seen this game grow so much over the year I have played it. I love the main story line and the alternate stories of each LI. I am a Holy Trinity girlie (Zayne, Sylus and Caleb). The combat is fun, the only thing I do not like is, getting resources to level up your cards and protocores after the beginner portion ends up leaving a lot to be desired. The VA from all the English LI are phenomenal and give an incredible immersive experience.
The quality of this game is unmatched.. remember, when it says RPG, it means RPG.. you will spend the majority of your time building teams and using a controller like set up to battle.. the stories are very good, but most of them are locked behind limited banners... the main story and standard content is free to play, but if you want all the content you see in ads, you will likely have to spend or skip a lot or content and grind for materials.. happy hunting
When I first downloaded this game, I didn't know it was an otome game; I give it a try because of the design of characters but I was full surprised about the story, the fights and the well developed characters. of course, you have to pay to get the best things and memories, but it is worth it because of the quality of the game. I wish they could create a shop for previous memories instead of re runs
I like it, but every time I open the app--im usually kicked off or the app closes. Meaning I have to open it again. Sometimes it stays frozen in the loading screen, making me reopen the app again until it works. It happens on and off, but if there was a PC version, I would play more often. Again, it's a good game. I like it, but overall it's frustrating a little to have the app close on you in the middle of everything.
I'm so excited to finally play this game! There are SO many options to do and it could easily occupy your whole day to catch up on all the stories when you join. There's so much to love and after 2 months I'm still unlocking things to experience. They have fun events with different mini games and awesome rewards and plenty for a freemium player. The first weeks can feel slow. It can be taxing on my device and will warm it up, but it's not too bad. There's plenty of settings you can tweek.
Fantastic graphics for a free to play game but they'll definitely get you with the in game paid extras. It's a beautiful game with more voice acting than expected, and the video game aspect is pretty addicting too. There are some glitching but I think that's a server issue than anything since you can only play when the server is online. Definitely need a ton of room on your phone!
I haven't had a single problem at all with the game running and its doing fantastic running for super long periods of time (spent 7 hours in one session and ran perfectly the whole time) i will say i have the samsung z flip 5 which runs games amazing, but i LOVEEE this game and the whole story. The world building, character building, and gameplay are just everything i want all in one. I love having an abundance of things to do, it never gets boring. I'm so excited to keep playing !!🙏🏻
I love it but there aren't many chapters yet. Also the leveling up system is so-so. Eventually you can only get enough XP to level up once every few days, but you can't proceed with the storyline without certain levels, and you can't buy more XP. You're basically limited to the daily achievements for XP. A warning that you can read other sections of the story before completing the first section, if you lack XP but still want to keep reading, but you will have a big spoiler if you do!
I really love this game. The story is great, really fun cute characters, lots of daily and weekly stuff to do with everything from mini games to combat. The only issue I have really is a pretty big issue to me, the game now takes up just over 36GB of space. This should either be ported to PC or fixed so it isn't quite this big. Edit: this week I got a pop-up to finally remove redundant files. Back down to 20GB (still huge but adding a star)
I can't give an HONEST review because I can't get in the app. I want to play and have made enough room (I have 20 or so gigs free) which SHOULD be enough for the update but it keeps saying I don't have enough space. I've tried repairing files, un/reinstalling, and emergency update but nothing works. I'll wait out the event and hopefully I can get in after.
The game hits a dead end after a few weeks of playing because the reward caps are so low that you get stuck on levels after a certain point and need to grind for weeks so level up. It is not worth it and card drop rates get lower. It's not a free game as you need micro transactions to progress and reward caps make it a waste of time. While animations are good, there's no roadmap for story progression or banners.
It's really unfortunate that a game with fantastic lore, graphics and characters has been boiled down to greed and optimization issues. I had to delete a lot of files from my phone in order to get the most recent update, and it makes me nervous for the next one being unplayable. There's also not many options for farming gems, especially as you continue to play as many other parts of the game encourage— destroying it's longevity. That, plus lack of communication from the devteam about events...
Best mobile otome game yet!!! It has amazing graphics and everything is fully voiced except for the MC's lines. But not only is it dating, it has combat similar to WUWA or Genshin, less polished, but still fun and challenging. Seriously, play it. It is a bit slow in the beginning btw, but if you find your guy, you will have a great time.
Edit 4/30/25: the game is too big! I literally don't have space anymore to even get the update. Let us get back into the game at least to delete some old data or something to to help lighten the load cuz now I can't play at all and I paid to get daily login gems! 😭 my family ended up getting me a new phone because of this game 😅 Love this game. Voice acting, music, customization, art, storyline, battling! This game is everything!
I came in with no expectations and was blown away by the story and combat. I was pleasantly surprised when it came down to the combat. You can power through most of the combat while severely under-leveled with strategy and skill although if you choose to, you can also have the game do auto combat. The characters were also very, VERY, well written. There are cash shop items but it is very f2p friendly and you can easily pull for 1 and 2 mains. Getting all 5 on the other hand is a struggle.
This game is super cute with a lot of features like combat, dress-up/photobooth, mini games, and stories full of tragedy. My only beef about it is that the game randomly logs me out, even if my last log-in was less than 24 hours ago. Edit x2: The game is currently relying on cute events and new cards to carry it. But there hasn't been an update to the main story in months. While I enjoy the minigames, it's just a band-aid for its overarching story, which was a major attraction for me.
