So here's my take on Lovecraft's Untold Stories. I've tested a bunch of action-RPG games and this one's a pretty solid entry. The combat is satisfying, there's a nice variety of enemies and bosses, and I like how the levels are randomly generated to keep things fresh. The progression system has good depth too, with lots of gear to craft and abilities to unlock. Where it falls a bit short is the repetitive nature of the gameplay - it can get old after a while. And the monetization with ads and in-app purchases is a bit aggressive. But for a free-to-play game, it's not too bad. If you're a fan of Lovecraft's work and want an action-packed roguelike, I'd recommend giving this a try.

Description

Been playing Lovecraft’s Untold Stories for a couple months now. It’s basically an action roguelike with RPG elements. You explore randomly generated levels based on H.P. Lovecraft stories, fighting cultists and all kinds of creepy monsters. There’s a ton of strategic depth to the gameplay – you’ve gotta upgrade your character, craft items, and manage your resources carefully.

The clan battles are where it gets really fun. You team up with friends and coordinate attacks to take down other clans. It’s a nice social element that keeps me coming back. And the graphics are pretty slick too – the Lovecraft aesthetic looks great.

Look, if you’re into games with rogue-like elements and a dark supernatural theme, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever at higher levels and the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it’s a solid action-packed strategy game that’s worth checking out.
