I’ve been playing Lyric Party Game ® for a couple months now. It’s basically a trivia game where you and your friends/family have to guess the lyrics to popular songs. You split up into teams and take turns being the ‘DJ’ – they read out lyric questions and the other team has to guess the song. There’s three rounds of increasing difficulty, which keeps things interesting.

The game’s got over 6,000 lyric questions covering 30+ music genres, so there’s a ton of variety. You can choose a specific genre or just shuffle through different styles. The questions range from easy 80s hits to more obscure modern songs, so it’s fun for all ages.

Look, if you’re into music trivia and game nights, you’ll probably really enjoy Lyric Party Game. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it’s a pretty solid app that does the job. Worth checking out if you want a new party game to liven things up.

I've tested a bunch of music trivia games and Lyric Party Game is one of the better ones I've tried. The huge library of questions keeps it feeling fresh, and the team-based gameplay makes for some really fun and competitive game nights. The difficulty scaling is well done too - starts easy then gets progressively harder. Not gonna lie, the ads can be a bit much, and I wish the upgrade to remove them wasn't so pricey. But if you don't mind a few ads, this is a pretty great app for music fans looking for a new party game.
