Reviews for Mafia City

← Back to Mafia City

As playing this game for a few months, I finally decided to review. I have been in over 5 clans. Been through hell and high water with people who stuck with me during my transitions, and we survived and battled foes together. This is a very interactive and micro-managing game, which is a must to survive. The sad truth is with all the grinding, you will NEVER catch up to cash users, they will always be top on the billboards naturally. I would suggest trying the game, but in the long run? A no-go.

Would honestly play your game if your advertisments reflected on what the game is actually about. It's just a stereotypical build and fight game with no open world experience the ads portrayed it would have. Serious false advertising was used to the point where it looks nothing like what they made it out to look like. Cheap graphics, few controls other than tapping to build things and such, and having to pay to get anywhere. Yotta Games please reply. I would like to know where the real game is.

Play at your own risk, this game will drain you financially so that you can actually compete against others. The ad you see is misleading and that's how they pull you end. The first 10 levels are easy, then as you progress it takes longer and longer. It will take money to speed build. And they dont have a delete account feature, you have to not play the game for 60 days before they delete the app. That's something that should be fixed as well

Didn't think I'd like this but it is actually really fun. There are times you can't do anything if you don't buy speed ups and compared to similar games the price of in game items is high. Nothing under 4.99 and 4.99 is few and far between lots of 19.99 and 99.99 which is ridiculous for a mobile game if you ask me. Overall fun and a pretty cool game though.

Fun game to play and connect with others. Very addictive. They make it almost impossible to play the game without spending money to progress without being destroyed by huge "clans". Very difficult to gather the resources needed to progress unless you have no life or you have cash to throw away at it. Otherwise well designed game with decent graphics and easy to use controls. In game guides to help you achieve objectives. Fun way to kill time and make a few friends..

I like the game, played in 3 different cities, I spent a lot of money on it too. If your not spending any money, you won't make it far. It starts off with cheap packs with lots of goodies for upgrades and then once you pass like level 10 or so the cheap priced packs go away, the price jumps up and up as you grow. I deleted the game today after nearly two years playing, thankfully I came to my senses.

I love Mafia City it's what I do when I'm not working. I've made really good friends playing this game. I also have spent a good amount of money. As of lately I can not even play... The game is glitching, freezing, resetting.. it's so frustrating.. I got zeroed yesterday because I was building in Gold rush and I see my tower is about to be attacked,I try to retrieve my troops and the game freezes I have to reboot in order for the game to work again .. that happens all day everyday lately.. :((

I went from a 5-star rating two if I could give it a zero I would. I had an issue with items that came up missing after I'm assuming there was a glitch items ended up missing. It happened twice. Spent close to $1,300 in the past year in this game. I lost between 11k and 15k in gold and certain power bonuses which is not a lot. you would think with the investment I put in they would be more than happy to help me. But they called me a liar.

There's pay to win and then there's Mafia City. With many games, a little spending and good strategy you can get ahead, but they keep adding expensive buffs that means if there are players who are willing to drop half a million dollars into a mobile game (and there are) there is no way to keep up. Fun enough if you find the right clan, but a complete cash grab otherwise.

This game was fun and have been playing for little over a year. HOWEVER recent events of harassment along with bullying and racism with a player and the "developers (GM)" does not seem to want to fix the problem even after being notified multiple times by myself and a few in my clan and other clan members. For this reason I will no longer be playing and getting refund of all money spent.

Pretty good game so far. Usually plenty of events going on to help out and I enjoy the Mafia theme of the game. Update after dev contact: Personally I think the babe "economy" is too difficult. Roses are expensive and kinda hard to come by, the items for upgrades are also kinda expensive. And maybe increase the default max stamina since there are so many events that require stamina.

READ THE REVIEWS! Absolutely nothing like the advertisements. This is your basic Build A City/Island! Type of game where you manage the buildings and follow the basic storyline. Definitely nothing like the Sims, where you can make your own choices and control the game itself. Don't bother with it, unless you like those building games where you just manage the city.

This game eats your real world cash! It is FULL of adverts for in-game purchases. There are TONS of blinking and flashing icons goading you into spending more money to get more gold or a special "pack" of time shorteners. Every facility in your turf needs to be upgraded. Every level requires more time and more resources (and more of your hard earned $$!) in order to gain the next level. The game is glitchy, and there is no method for requesting refunds or reporting problems to get credits.

I like how this one, the second building que, is not locked behind a pay wall. Great storyline and voice acting. I play both this and Grand Mafia, I like them both. This one seems to give better rewards for missions and your time investment. Raising your power takes a little longer but is definitely worth it. You can earn gold for free just by playing the game. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Don't play-- I started out loving it and played it a lot. It was addicting, until other "bosses" and leaders started to all attack one another. They can attack you no matter if they're mansion level, power, crew, etc is much higher than yours and you don't stand a chance. They can also attack you again right after they just defeated you, with no time for you to recover. You get hit a lot and there's no rules behind it to make it a fair fight. The only way to ensure that no one can spy on you or attack you, is by using a truce, which isn't easy to come by at all, except through purchasing or a lot of gold. I got tired of it, so I kept up with truces so I didn't have to deal with it and it worked, up until yesterday when I had several hours of my truce left, yet I got attacked by 3 different people almost at the same time! You put a lot of work into it and your work gets destroyed, unfairly and even a truce can't protect you from attacks all the time, even though it's supposed to 100%. Not worth the stress and money I put into it. Very disappointed

Fun, but extremely addictive, time consuming and expensive if you're trying to compete or make real progress. However, if you're willing and able to afford spending up to $100 per game pack, or even purchasing cheaper packs for $5, it will become a vicious cycle of having to keep making purchases, or you'll fall behind in the game. The customer support is HORRIBLE. I've yet to receive any response from them whenever I've submitted a ticket. Also bogs down phone for almost every player I know.

This game is like dozens of other badly designed chore-based games. There is little actual play, just click on what it tells you to click on. Everything has a timer. The game is a giant ad for itself. At every possible opportunity you are reminded to buy something. And you are reminded over and over and over... Pay-to-win. Speaking of ads, this game is absolutely nothing like the online advertisements for it. If I could leave a negative rating for misleading advertising I would.

Gameplay is fun until you run across an issue, and then you are s.o.l. because you will be lucky to hear back. it takes about 2 weeks to get any reply on the Line App, sometimes longer in game as well. If there is a reply, then it's the same stall tactic by bouncing the issue to somebody new in each time, hoping to frustrate you to the point of dropping the issue. Just my opinion, but not the way you should be handling your customers, and yes, I DO pay, so I am a customer.

Was fun for awhile but there keeps getting more and more content and updates things to keep up with. Impossible to progress without spending tons on packs. Gameplay lags and freezes or is behind. Constantly have to restart it. My phone and internet aren't fast enough. It also takes up lots of memory. It is addictive and they'll get you to spend. There is so much to the game. I just can't keep up with it. Waste of time and money

Sure, it's a free download. And technically, you can play without spending any money, but that's only so the developers can avoid being prosecuted for fraudulent advertising. The game bears no resemblance to its ads. Do not download if you think the ads were interesting. The actual game is boring and repetitious. The interface is a kludge, with so much bloat it takes a medium to high-end device to run smoothly while any other application is running in the background. Walk away.
