Description
Been playing Magic Star for a couple months now. It’s basically an idol-themed rhythm game where you tap and swipe to the beat of tons of different music tracks. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: there are different game modes like Rhythm, Classic, and Tradition. You pick a song and then tap and swipe along with the notes as they come at you. It’s got some cute customization too – you can dress up your idol character in different costumes and accessories. And the music library is massive, with all sorts of genres covered.
Look, if you’re a fan of idol games or just rhythm games in general, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever and the ads can get annoying. But overall it does the job and is worth checking out if you’re looking for a fun new music game.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Magic Star. I've tested a bunch of idol and rhythm games, and this one's pretty solid overall. The music and visuals are great, and there's a good amount of depth with the different gameplay modes. It's also refreshing that you don't really need to spend money to enjoy it. But the progression does get a little grindy at higher levels, and the ad interruptions can get old after a while. Still, if you're looking for an addictive new rhythm game to sink your time into, Magic Star is a pretty good option.
