I enjoyed this game much more before it started sucking up all the diamonds, no matter HOW much I spend. I've spent $70/80 in a day and still can't close with diamonds left. No matter how many goals you have to reach in a game, they don't give more than 25 moves to do so. Which seems challenging until you have to spend 900 diamonds for the last move OR it gets doubled and tripled to win. Now I see ads portraying things not in the game🤦🏾, and this Throne Room, sucks!!!
Reviews for Matching Story – Puzzle Games
I love this game, 5 stars! It's so calming and satisfies my need to organize. I just want to clarify for others that the gameplay is different from the ads. The ads show a house renovation story, but this is a fantastic merge game on an island. If you're confused, you're not alone! But give this version a try, it's great!
I adore games like this... until you hit that level where it goes from fun to grueling (about 415 on this game) and no matter your skill and no matter how careful you are, the ability to win a level on the first try is almost non-existent. I hate having to play levels over and over again because I have no cheats and I don't want to buy them. I miss when games were based on skill level and not potential dollar amount.
Great game, very addictive, no ads, just a very cool and peaceful game to play. I never thought I'd say such a statement, but, I must! I love it. A VERY enjoyable game to play, time just passes, no pay to play. Yes, there are things you can purchase to have more diamonds, etc... BUT NOT NECESSARY! Graphics are great, just an all-around awesome game, I have a few medical issues going on with myself, and for the last several hours since I downloaded and have been playing, it's quieted my mind.
The ad where the guy says that this game actually has the story of the woman and daughter is completely false. There's an occasional side "bonus" level where you have to fix a room up but it's also nothing like the ad. Otherwise it's not a great game. Just a mashup of other better games. No ads but eventually you'll need to spend money to advance. If that's what you're into, then you'll probably love it.
It's a cool game.. But.... Way, Way too many things on home screen. They either need to remove some (if not all) of the purchasing offers or limit the side games. Space to store everything that needs to be completed is also too small, I now have like 12 to 15 items Im trying to complete in an area the size of a thumbnail. It's very crowded, and with poor eyesight, it's hard to see what's what and what needs to be matched or move things around.
Nice game, but I do wish gem payouts weren't so cheap. It makes it boring after a while because you frequently get stuck on a level that no amount of power ups can solve. And there's no other option but to quit. Not enough space for merges either, so you have to sit on chests earned. And no, I won't buy the TINY plots available for more space. Too small to be of any benefit.
No Longer Matching (glowing). The game was extremely fun. I enjoyed seeing and playing the different levels (loved the animation). However, within the last week...the matches stopped glowing. It is very frustrating especially when multiple boxes to open. I've turned it off from the settings menu. I've shut it down and even checked for updates. NOTHING has worked :-(
Very cute, laid-back game. No stress or pressure. No timed assignments. No ads. Lots of optional cute race games. There are, of course, things for sale with real money, as with all games, but it is not a pay-to-play game! The match 3 puzzles become more difficult as you go. I'm in the 700's, and the puzzles are now too difficult for me. I do recommend it, it's really nice while it lasts.
New "gripe" about this game: once you get to some of the higher levels it lets you win 1-2 levels and then you lose the next several levels by a single move. I guess the developers think that will encourage folks to spend money to buy additional moves. It actually has the opposite impact on me--it makes me double-down on not spending ANY money for this game. It's also encouraging me to uninstall it. Still rating it as 2-stars for this reason.
