I’ve been using MathHero: Math Games for Kids for a couple months now. It’s basically a fun and engaging way for kids to practice mental arithmetic like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Pretty solid app if you’ve got a little one who needs some help with their math skills.
Here’s what you do: you can pick the specific math facts and operations you want to focus on, so it’s great for different grade levels from kindergarten up to 4th grade. There’s also a ton of different mini-games and activities to make practicing math fun instead of boring. And the games get progressively harder as you level up – took me a while to get the hang of some of the trickier ones.
Look, if you’re a parent with a young kid who needs to work on their mental math, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does a solid job of making math practice engaging and rewarding for kids. Worth checking out.
