This game is fun for a short while, but it quickly wears off. It's pay-to-win, repetitive and long winded gameplay, boring updates and events, and next to no reward for non-paying players. If you want to experience everything this game had to offer, be prepared to spend hundreds of dollars, or stop playing after a few hours.
Reviews for Mech Assemble: Zombie Swarm
← Back to Mech Assemble: Zombie SwarmIt is a game that pays to win, you can level up if you are patient, but the items that you need to enhance in the store are limited, so you have to wait for the store to refresh, you will only get the new mechs by spending lots of cash or time, Even watching ads, you will only get so far, for instance Mech Vault needs you to pass level 20, doing all the quests and watching videos you will be lucky if you get to level 8, without spending, and it's a similar story with other events.
This game is garbage. Every single event requires you to pay just to interact with them or watch an ad once a day for a single use of something. You genuinely can't play this game without paying money regularly to play it beyond the regular gameplay loop that at one point requires you to be at a dead stop for days starting on the third chapter. Or just pay to actually make progress. Now that I think about it. This game might as well just be pay regularly to play. One of the most predatory devs.
fun game, deceptive sales. I bought a recent pack expecting a certain volume of rewards. what they don't tell you is that the cost for rewards goes up as you get deeper into the event. this requires more purchases to get previously expected rewards. basically, you don't know the price goes up until after the initial purchase. the in-game contact ticket doesn't allow for this personal complaint, so it's made here.
I'm at level 37 with bot power of about 125 and the ability to level the bot and weapons has quickly declined which leads me to believe those that have gone beyond this level are either lifers or paid their way up the ranks. Plus, not many online to help with team instance. ONEMT, I understand you want money, but the adds are too long for so little gain. Your events are skewed to those that pay. I'll watch ads, but make it worth it. Lunch breaks are only so long.
while the game is fun, it is definitely designed to force you into high payments if you want anything good. Even then, you'd be lucky. My experience was disgusting. I saved up to almost 20k diamonds. spent em all, didn't get a thing. you'd think the creator would at least have Mecha and weapons purchasable with cash. No. they force you to buy the diamonds and then put everything on such a low win rate, you have to spend hundreds just to get a single item.
green health drone never shows up for upgrades, support is non-existent. haven't been able to play any combat, normal level, or PVP in 5 days, contacted support and zero response, zero change. can only quick search, and collect rewards without game crashing. have tried reinstalling with no improvement. hate to leave game but at this point not being given many choices. fix game and I'll fix rating, at this point I would recommend avoiding due to to many bugs and zero customer support
the game is fun and I would rate it higher but for one reason. im convinced the developers are behind the highest power rated accounts in each server. there was a character on my server that was always talkative, volunteered help, and was good. now it doesn't show as being active but when I do a teams that account always joins but never interacts. im about 1m behind that account in power but I do 86% of the damage because the bot running the mech just shoots off the screen.
This is a great game with lots of potential to be even greater... but it crashes way too much after the most recent update. I've sent in a message to the support team about this. It's a gamble playing the more high stakes modes, because the game might crash mid-battle. While still counting as a try, eating away at your precious energy.
Half the time, optional ads after a left don't allow you to get the reward from watching them. I've run into several cases when it didn't register that thirty to sixty seconds of my time was wasted watching an ad. A couple of times an ad didn't let me exit the final screen and had no Z button to skip or advance, forcing me to close the game and reset my level progress.
I don't usually do reviews, but just have to say this is a great game! play it a lot. my only gripe is that you get so far in the game and hit a brick wall as far as game play. It's almost impossible to get past certain levels without dumping copious amounts of money into it. I think that lower level players should get to experience annihilation mode just for less rewards maybe. Just a thought. other than that, great game in my opinion.
Gameplay is very fun and while the progress is very slow you do get some progress. the negative side is how greedy it is, outside of the 5 or 6 free mechs there is no way to get new mechs without spending crazy amounts of money, they do not care at all about free to play players. I understand they want people to spend money but considering how slow it is to rank up a mech, they should at least make it possible to get the more premium ones eventually.
After a week or two of playing. I still think the game play is fun and has potential but the p2w wall is high. I found myself in multiple instances where the only way to move forward was to either spend money or wait for slow power creep. Again, I shouldn't have to watch an ad to access so much content. I watched so many ads that I'm completely over the game now. And the ad remover is a monthly subscription which is insane. Sorry but I have to uninstall
The experience started good enough. Build a robot, fight swarms of zombies. but the game inflates the enemies health way, way too hard, to the point that it stonewalls you unless you spend money to limit break parts or get rare weapons/mechs. Even when focusing 100% on damage, basic enemies end up taking forever to kill and you just can't progress. pushes way too hard to spend money.
I changed my review to 1 stars. The game is fun, and I enjoy it. however, the mech vault events are very much a money grab, and as you get further in the event/level, you notice that your luck goes bad very quickly. this is the second event I have played and paid into and there is no way it should take nearly as long to progress through the event when you have a 1 and 3 chance to pass a level but takes consistently 8- 15 times. FIX THIS it is not right to scam your players
The gameplay itself is fun. Weapons function as intended and have several branches for power-ups, which bring variety. But progress slows to a crawl once you get to level 25ish. I was doing well, albeit with some challenge. But now, I can do almost no damage to the elites. Level 25 is an obvious progress throttle. It pushes the game into pay-2-win status. Rather than skill. Again, great potential wasted because of either greed or an overlooked progression issue. Will upgrade score when fixed.
It's got some content and a time burner. Too many weapons/units are locked behind paywalls. the Gold suits are locked behind a $2,000 pay wall!!! that's insane!! Game cators to whales who want to spend big. Side tip to devs, add more interaction with the battle field, items to collect or reasons to move around it. gets real stale really fast. And the gold coins you pick up do literally nothing. what's even the point of those? *Fun game, but unless you're willing to spend hundreds, steer clear.
this game has aspects that are a ton of fun. and when I started, the game was rather active. but these days the game is an endless pay wall. there is no uniqueness or fun change up with events. it's just repeated pay wall after pay wall. unless you skip events for a few months, you will not have the resources to get the good late game gear. if the pay wall isn't stopped or at least lower, this game is doomed to die. I've been playing for months, and consider quitting because of it.
I really do enjoy games like this. I've played a bunch of them. However, this is very pay to progress, and it's not cheap. Just the monthly skip adds is 22$ USD. Rewards are very minimal, so expect to grind forever. The weapons and bots are pretty fun. But again, to level them up is either very, very time-consuming or very expensive. It could be a fun game, but the greed and endless grinding doesn't make it too enjoyable. So many people have quit this game because of this.
It's pretty fun, like Vampire Survivors but with mechs and ads and frequent crashes. I like the mechs and weapon customization, and I'll give a pass to the dozen daily ad-based rewards, but the game crashing every few minutes is really holding it back. It's actually unplayable sometimes because it will crash while booting up or on the home menu multiple times in a row.
