So here's my take on Meet the Numberblocks - I've tested a bunch of kids' learning apps and this one's actually pretty solid. The counting mechanic is simple but satisfying, and the Numberblocks characters are really charming. It's not gonna blow you away with crazy features, but it's a great little educational app that young kids will enjoy. The only downside is it might get a bit repetitive after a while, but for a free download, you really can't go wrong.

Pros

  • Colorful, friendly characters that kids will love
  • Straightforward counting activities that are easy to pick up
  • Free to download with no in-app purchases or ads
  • Nice little videos that play when you finish counting

Cons

  • Can get a bit repetitive after playing for a while
  • Doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles compared to other kids' apps
  • Might be a little too simple for older kids who are past the basics

Description

I’ve been playing Meet the Numberblocks for a couple months now. It’s basically an educational app that helps kids learn to count. You get to meet all the different Numberblocks characters and tap on their little Numberblobs to count them. When you’ve got them all counted, you get to watch a cute little video with the Numberblocks song.

There’s a bunch of different Numberblocks to interact with – you can tap on them to make them change shape and say their catchphrases. It’s a pretty fun way for little kids to practice their counting skills. And the animations and characters are super colorful and friendly looking.

Look, if you’ve got young kids who are just starting to learn numbers, they’ll probably get a kick out of this app. It’s not the most complex thing ever, but it does the job of keeping them entertained and learning at the same time. Not bad at all for a free download.
