Description
Been using Note Rush: Learn to Read Music for a couple months now. It’s basically a virtual flash card app that helps you get better at reading music notes. Pretty solid if you’re into improving your musical skills.
Here’s what you do: You play a note on your instrument and the app listens, giving you instant feedback and stars based on how fast and accurate you were. There’s also different levels to progress through, which is cool. And you can even design your own custom lessons – took me a while to figure that out but it’s really useful.
Look, if you’re trying to learn to read music better, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Note Rush: Learn to Read Music. I've tested a bunch of music learning apps and this one's pretty solid. The note recognition works well and it's a great way to drill those notes into your brain. The different levels and custom lessons are nice touches too. On the downside, it can get a little repetitive after a while and the free version has some pesky ads. But overall, it's a really useful app if you're trying to improve your music reading skills.
