Description
Been playing Octro Poker holdem poker games for a couple months now. It’s basically a card game where you can play Texas Holdem poker with friends or against random players online. Pretty solid app if you’re into casino-style games on your phone.
Here’s what you do: You can build up your poker chips by winning hands, then use those chips to bet and try to win more. There’s also blackjack and slot machine mini-games which are pretty cool. And you can join a clan and team up with other players to battle against rival clans – took me a while to figure that out but it’s a fun social element.
Look, if you’re into mobile poker and casino games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Octro Poker holdem poker games. I've tested a bunch of mobile casino and poker apps and this one's actually pretty decent. The gameplay is addictive and there's a good amount of strategy without being overwhelming. And the graphics look great and it runs smoothly even on my older phone. The free-to-play model is fair - you don't have to spend money to enjoy it, though the ads can get a little intrusive. My main gripe is that the progression gets really slow at higher levels, but that's pretty common in these types of games.
