So here's my honest take on Parallel Experiment. I've tested a bunch of puzzle and escape room games, and this one stands out for the cool two-player cooperative mechanic. The comic book aesthetic looks great, and the puzzles are genuinely challenging without being frustratingly hard. The communication aspect is what really makes it shine - you and your partner have to constantly discuss and collaborate to progress. That said, it can get a little repetitive after a while, and the progression does feel a bit grindy at higher levels. But if you're looking for a unique puzzle game to play with a friend, I'd definitely recommend giving Parallel Experiment a try.

Description

I’ve been playing Parallel Experiment for a couple months now. It’s basically a cooperative puzzle game where you and a friend have to work together to solve escape room-like challenges. The premise is that you play as two detectives trying to track down a killer, but you get separated and need to communicate to progress.

Here’s what you do: there’s puzzles you have to solve, but the catch is each player can only see part of the clues. So you have to talk it out with your partner, share info, and figure it out together. There’s also some comic book-style storytelling which is a nice touch. It can get pretty tricky but it’s super satisfying when you finally crack a tough puzzle.

Look, if you’re into games that make you think and require teamwork, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it’s a really solid cooperative experience. Worth checking out if you want something new to play with a friend.
