Been playing Penguin GO! for a couple months now. It’s basically a merge tower defense survival game where you team up with a friend or go solo against zombie hordes. Basically, when the sun disappears and the world freezes over, you’ve gotta build up your base, summon heroes, and defend against the zombie attacks. There’s a bunch of different game modes too – you can do endless runs with ever-changing challenges, or compete against other players online. The strategy and RPG elements are pretty deep, but it’s not too complicated to pick up.
Here’s what you do: You place your heroes and towers to protect your base, then shoot at the zombies when they get close. There’s also a luck system that can give you random boosts, which is a neat twist. And you can upgrade your heroes and unlock new ones – took me a while to figure out the best combos but it’s satisfying when you get it right.
Look, if you’re into strategy/tower defense games, you’ll probably enjoy this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can get a bit grindy at higher levels – but overall it’s a solid game that’s free to play. Worth checking out if you want to team up with friends and see who can survive the longest.

So here's my take on Penguin GO! I've tested a bunch of strategy games and this one's up there with the best. The core gameplay loop is really addictive - planning your defenses, leveling up your heroes, competing against other players. The merge mechanic and luck system add some nice depth too. It's not the most original game out there, but it does the basics really well. And the graphics are great and it runs smoothly even on my older phone. Only downsides are that it can get a bit repetitive after a while, and the progression can feel a little grindy if you don't want to pay. But overall, it's a solid free-to-play game that I've been enjoying. Definitely recommend checking it out.
