Been playing Pet Rescue Saga for a couple months now. It’s basically a match-3 puzzle game where you’ve got to save cute puppies and kittens trapped between the blocks. Gotta clear the levels by matching 2 or more blocks of the same color to blast them away. Sounds simple but it gets pretty tricky, especially on the later levels.

There’s a ton of different events and challenges to keep you busy. You can rescue all kinds of pets – not just dogs and cats but also bunnies, birds, and even some exotic animals. And the more pets you save, the more you can build up this cool little animal shelter. Pretty nifty.

Look, if you’re into puzzle games, you’ll probably dig this. It’s free to play so you don’t have to spend money, but the ads can get a bit annoying after a while. Overall though, it’s a solid app that gives you some good casual gaming fun.

I've tested a bunch of match-3 puzzle games and Pet Rescue Saga is one of the better ones in my opinion. The core gameplay loop of blasting blocks to save pets is really satisfying, and I like how they mix things up with different events and challenges. And the graphics are polished and it runs great on my older phone. Only real downside is the grind of upgrading your shelter can get a little repetitive after a while. But if you're looking for an addictive puzzle game, this is definitely worth checking out.
