I’ve been using Piano Detector: Virtual Piano for a couple months now. It’s basically a music app that lets you play a full piano keyboard right on your phone. Pretty solid if you’re into music and instruments.

Here’s what you can do: there’s a huge selection of different keyboard sounds – not just piano, but organ, guitar, harp, and tons more. You can mess around with the different instruments and even record yourself playing. There’s also a bunch of mini-games to help you practice, like Piano Tiles and MIDI Keyboard mode.

Look, if you’re a music lover or just want to mess around with some virtual instruments, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job and is worth checking out.

So here's my honest take on Piano Detector: Virtual Piano. I've tested a bunch of music apps and this one's pretty good. The selection of instruments is really impressive and the different practice modes are a nice touch. And the sound quality is solid too. But it's not without its issues - the learning curve is a bit steep at first, and the free version has some annoying ads. Overall though, if you're looking for a powerful virtual piano app, this is one of the better ones I've tried.
