The Gameboy camera support blew me away. One thing though. Even though this emulator is amazing, it feels a bit cramped to navigate. What I think really works with Android emulators is to have a library with box arts when you start the app. With at the bottom navigation to your settings etc. And when you click the game the actual emulator opens. This is easier to navigate through and looks more satisfying. Take the dolphin or lemuroid Android apps as an example. Besides that, amazing emulator!
Reviews for Pizza Boy C Pro
← Back to Pizza Boy C ProBest GB/GBC emulator ever!!! The only issue is the box arts are not loading like the GBA emulator. This new update seems to be preventing that for some reason. I've reset the settings, cleared all the data to start over again, and i've rescanned my file folder for my roms numerous times and still nothing. Please help.
I was glad to support the pizza boy GBC and GBA apps. The nostalgic comeback was well worth the $6.
This is a great emulator with a couple of issues. One issue for me is working with .sav files. I had a few save files I wanted to load into Pizza Pro, but could not through the "Import .sav from other emulator". Screen would just go black. I had download Pizza Basic, use the import .sav there, then export as zip file, then import zip file in Pro for it to take. Another complaint is I wish there was a way to re-see help pop-ups. I missed the pop-up for cheats, and can't view it again. Pixel 6a
This app is amazing and well developed! I love all the cool features you get with the Pro version. So many great features from the 60fps, save states & custom color pallets to the shaders; everything that should be in a "Classic Boy" app. However, there seems to be some missing settings like the speed selector, for example, located under the general settings that are only found in the Pizza Boy A Pro app... please add speed selector and any other missing settings to Pizza Boy C Pro. 5 stars!!!!!
Great experience so far but not 5 star due to two things only. Audio channels seem to bleed into each other making one channel sound louder than usual and the other two quiet. Emulator doesn't seem to have a functional battery clock for games meaning games like Pokemon Gold/Silver & Crystal don't cycle through day and night properly. Otherwise everything else is great, video is crisp, no slowdowns and the UI is a great nostalgia vibe.
Hey, Is there a Frame blending option in the settings because I couldn't find it and when I was playing The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening DX Bow wow's chain was flickering really bad because the game uses frame blending to simulate a transparent effect for his chain.
Great Emulator, let's me play all those classic game Boy games from my youth. One question how do you move save files between devices. Thanks Dev for quick response how do I export save to Google drive or sync there can't find any options? I looked but don't have any advanced menu settings I have general, ui, save, joy pad, video, retro achievements clicked them all and can't find anything relating google drive. Maybe I'm being stupid and missing something 😕
Amazing job on the emulator, it works wondefully! I hope you have a good holiday period :D Support this dev! They did a good job on the emulator, even the free version is good if you cannot afford it, you can speed up the game and such if you need to, with this version you can do a lot of great stuff like changing skins and even adding stickers! Haven't any trouble with the app, 5 stars :D!
I used to have some problems with the app, like home shortcuts not booting the game properly or booting a previous save state (making me lose my progress), but I found out the issue was "loading the Bios file on start-up". Disabling that option in the settings made the game shortcuts run exactly as I expected. Now my save files are more secure and I can play with the peace of mind that they won't get lost along the way, however, I'd highly suggest you don't tempt fate and save your game states.
Works well but lacking some quality of life features that Pizza Boy A Pro has, such as saves going into the specified directory. I have to manually export or risk losing save data. Update: Well that was a quick response, haha. Love you!
decent but some serious design flaws. When touching the game screen, it switches back and forth between normal screen and arcade borders. wouldn't be much of a problem, except rewind can't be mapped to external controller, and in landscape mode, rewind is right on top of game screen, which clicks the screen underneath too, switching it. no rotating slot auto saves. Also, can't lock screen in landscape mode; it keeps flipping when I turn the screen. Pizza Boy A is perfect. Why not this one?
Works great! I like that I can customize the button sizes. Can you update the storage setup to use Android's new Scoped Storage, and in particular have the "pizzaboy" directory be internal to the app? That way it won't need the storage permission, and won't clutter the filesystem with app-specific folders. If this is done, the SAF can still be used to add ROMs (no storage permission needed).
Finally decided to buy! I loved the free version and this one is way cooler! If you're on the fence with buying this, it's worth it! One issue though, please add some sort of failsafe to the quick load button on the UI, lost a good chunk of progress today. Not a major thing though. No worries.
The emulator runs good for what it's worth. Personally, I play turn based and some platformer games on here, as action real-time games, it can be difficult with touch-screen controls. The only downfall for me is that I can't get an accurate color palette to be set on here for GBC games.
Great app, but not quite perfect. -Needs to have the same features as the Pizza Boy GBA emulator (ex. Fast forward/rewind and buttons style settings.) -Drains battery life faster than other GB/GBC emulators. (I use a Pixel 3.) -Sound quality is not as good as MyBoy! and does not have sound frequency options. -In Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal, every Trainer and Pokemon sprite undergoes a noticable glitch at the start of all battles/encounters immediately after they are "revealed."
Has been flawless in terms of emulation with a bunch of fantastic features! My only bit of feedback would be that I wish I could adjust the deadzone setting for the dpad or even resize the dpad. I like having the deadzone on so I can rest my thumb in the middle of it but it's just a little big for my taste. Still, not enough of a gripe to lower the rating in my view.
Keeps reverting saves. I'd just beat the 3rd gym on Pokemon crystal and saved the game (before and after Whitney). When I opened the game again I was reverted to a save several hours prior. Then when I was opening and reopening the app trying to see if I could get it load my further save, the app loaded an even older save from shortly after the 1st gym. I don't know how it's pulling in such old saves, but this is a horrible bug.
I bought it for the Game Boy Camera support. I was looking for an easier way to export pictures from it. It's definitely the best on the Play Store for the Camera. I just wish there was a way to put a screenshot button on the UI and a way to set the zoom for the cameral input, it's really zoomed in there, you have to get really far away from whatever you're taking a picture of. -edited after the update- The developer pushed out an update that fixed all the little quirks. He's a nice dude and this is the best emulator for taking pictures with Game Boy Camera
I used my old boy until I got a new phone. I looked around for an emulator that was good for Pokemon. So it has to be able to speed up (when leveling), cheats, multiplayer (trading), multiple save states. This does all of that and more! Also they have fixed every error Ive identified, these developers care about user experience! One thing I'd add is load/save states when doing multiplayer it makes trading much easier. This is an awesome emulator thanks!!!
