Reviews for RAID: Shadow Legends

Not enough progression rewards to move forward at a certain point. Money has to be spent in order to get to end game. Legendary champs are rare even in their highest champ crystal and you need them to get anywhere. Of course you can grind for months and months lol. By far one the greediest of all mobile games. If you at least want some small gratification from investing a large part of your free time, play Marvel Contest of Champions. It's not a dead end if you don't pay the ransom!

I downloaded this game for the first time because I'm a huge TMNT fan, I don't know or care about 'Ninja' or Rousey. Little did I know that this game is a HUGE money grab. I can get 10x draws in other games for the price that a single draw is charged for this game. The battle system is annoying, character development is overly complicated, and an in-game purchase ad pops up each time you go back to the main screen. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the main story seemed interesting.

This game takes a long while to learn. it will help to do research before playing it, and continue to while playing. You can trap yourself in many money pits, pointless investments. you have to strategize every action you take in and out of battle. Take advantage of the new player codes they are ESSENTIAL to the speed of growth your account will have. This game has a lot of opportunities that you must take advantage of to get anywhere. Im glad they removed the cost of unequipping, that was bs.

Biggest cash grab on the market. Every action in the game takes resources, all of which are in short supply. I'm talking right down to equipping gear: if you want to remove it, that'll cost in game coin, which runs out quickly. But you're reminded you can purchase more! Over and over and over in the form of popups, which are needlessly annoying. Leveling, ranking up, increasing skills take forever unless you want to spend $40-99 a pop. A shame bc this game is actually fun. Not F2P friendly.

This game is overly complicated. You pull a good hero, and now you have to upgrade level, rank, and skills. Then, you need to ascend the hero. Then, you need to get the soul stones. Let's not forget the weapons, shield, boots, etc. And you can upgrade and ascend those as well. I am at the point where I either spend money or spend 1000's of hours on this game just to get the resources.

This game has a lot of potential with its great graphics, character selection, and gear sets. However, the arena matchmaking needs work. New players constantly face full teams of legendary champions in the lowest rank, which makes it hard to stay consistent. It might be better if the game had servers, so you're not facing players who have been playing for years.

Game is really fun with lots of content, but the sheer amount of unavoidable pop-ups for "micro" transactions kind of kills it. You just get bombarded every time you go to home. I put micro in quotes because there's nothing micro about the amounts they charge for such little content in return. I don't mind there being pay-to-win options available, but please stop blasting us with them non-stop. It's one of the main reasons I don't buy any of them. I will not support this kind of gaming culture

I've been playing video games since pong in the 1970s. The upgrade system for aritifacts/accesories is the dumbest system i have ever seen! It is a complete waste of time. It takes at least 10 minutes to upgrade an artifact to level 16. Just give me a cost and let me move on!!!!! I like the game but things like this are so annoying I am considering quitting.

It is a great RPG with a lot of customization. Graphics are good. I feel like I can progress fine without spending a fortune. The game has literally no ads. It takes a while to learn so it is not for the casual gamer. But I progress fine even withouy knowing exactly what I am doing :) But please devs.. reduce the amount of offer popups.. they are ridiculously expensive and it is very annoying and makes it look like pay to win which I don't think it is. If we want to spend we go to the store.

Pay to win. It is a gambling game that teases good rewards, but the chance of getting them is crazy limited. I've been playing this game for years and I only have five legendary champions, of which I think 2 were obtained from shards. The others were from giveaway tasks. It's sickening and disheartening to open 40 blue shards and only get 1 or 2 epic champions. Even the higher tier shards will not do anything. Don't play. Don't waste your time.

Omg, the pop ups trying to get you to spend real money really get on my nerves. Everytime you go back to your main, more pop ups, then battle, return, more pop ups, go somewhere else, return, more pop ups. Arena battles don't make since. Compete with someone half your power, and they dominate. I've been playing for several years off and on. I have several legendary. Only 1 is good. You'll never dominate if you don't spend real money, but I won't.

Great characters but can't obtain them. I beat the campaign mode up to nightmare levels. I beat all the dungeons up to as far as I can beat the boss. I refuse to join an alliance because they require the game to be more like a job. This is just not a fun game considering the fact you can not unlock any legendary characters. I've unlocked hundreds of shards and only ever unlock Epics and they are all duplicates. This game is the most expensive game in the app store. The game becomes boring.

It's definitely a challenging game, you really have to think hard about your progression. The only issue I'm having after about a year in, is that it has really become a pay to win game. You CAN play it free to play, but it takes forever to advance. We did have maybe one event to spend on a month, but it started this month, SIX champs to try and get? And there seems no let up. This is really becoming a game for whales and people suffering from FOMO.

Really rough if you are just starting out. The game doesn't seem to give you any upgrade material for your characters, and when you go to choose characters there is no screen that shows their skills which is extremely frustrating. The lack of blue or purple units in the beginning of the game make it really hard to progress farther, especially when it keeps getting tougher and you don't have materials to level your characters or better units.

Refuses to connnect via mobile after months of play. Clearing the cache, then the data, and then uninstalling and reinstalling it did not restore server connection. Been unable to play on my phone for several days now. Online solutions also did nothing to resolve the issue. As of review time, game is completely and unexpectedly unplayable on my device after investing many hours and dollars into my progress.

It's alright. I enjoy it, but the only thing I gave an issue with is that everything you do requires paying in-game currency but doesn't give you enough to compensate. At least to me, it's difficult to improve my characters or their gear. I should not have to pay in-game currency to un-equip or re-equip gear. Also difficult to get higher ranking characters outside of login rewards or events.

The foundations of the game are great. Trying to delete your account because you haven't played in years and want a fresh start is basically impossible, especially with the customer service and required information that the bot requires. Not to mention the absolutely insane amount of pop ups when in the main town. Its easily the most predatory monetization I've seen. Seriously guys, over 15 pop ups saying I need to buy all this junk? That makes me quit more than anything.

honestly, not very unique of a game. It is part of the current fad of games where there are a billion menu items, red dots everywhere on the home screen to click, five or more popups when you login and that is just the user interface. the UI is the most confusing and frustrating part of this game. The game itself is extremely repetitive. Every game is the same. You pick a few characters to run up a stage to defeat three ways of enemies. After a while, you feel like a repetitive robot.

As a free player, it's not bad. Definitely gotta knock out the daily achievements to even have a chance at progress. I'm 100+ days in. starting during the American McGee's Alice in Wonderland event, and I've mostly enjoyed it. It certainly has more resources to manage than other games I've played, so I've certainly made some mistakes, but overall, it's a fun use of 45 to 180 minutes per day. It would be nice if pop-up ads for pay to win items didn't show up constantly every time, though.

There is a growing problem with the game. Every few updates they add new heroes which is a good thing! however, The more heroes added to the game, the harder it'll be for you to get the character you want. This has been a problem for a while but it's getting worse. The game always demands specific characters but with no real way to focus champions (All of them). So the grind starts to get stale knowing that you may never get the character you want. This is something they need to change soon.
