So here's my honest take on Random Adventure Roguelike II. I've tested a bunch of RPG and roguelike games on my phone and this one's a pretty solid entry. And the retro text-based style is really well done, and there's a ton of strategic depth to the combat and crafting systems without being overwhelming. I'd say it's a great option if you're looking for an addictive adventure game that you can pick up and play in short bursts. Not gonna lie, the grind can get a little old after a while, but if you don't mind that it's a pretty fun ride.

Description

Been playing Random Adventure Roguelike II for a couple months now. It’s basically a text-based RPG with roguelike elements – you explore this randomly generated world, go on quests, craft gear and items, that kind of thing. Pretty solid app if you’re into that sort of old-school adventure game.

Here’s what you do: you start off in this little village and you can go out and explore the world, fight monsters, collect resources. There’s also a whole crafting system where you can make potions, tools, weapons, and more. And there’s this big bad villain you’re trying to take down – you gotta level up your character, get better gear, and eventually challenge The Tyrant. Took me a while to figure out all the mechanics but it’s pretty fun once you get the hang of it.

Look, if you’re into retro-style RPGs, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can be kinda annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want a casual adventure game to sink some time into.
