Description
Been using Readiculous – Learn to Read for a couple months now. It’s basically a reading app that tries to make the whole process a lot more fun and engaging for kids. Pretty solid app if you’re into educational games.
Here’s what you do: you explore this enchanting treehouse world, customize your character, and go on little reading missions with the characters. There’s also a ton of mini-games and challenges to keep things interesting. And you can even blast off to the moon with Mrs. Wordsmith – apparently that helps kids learn to read 2x faster, which is pretty cool.
Look, if you’ve got young kids who need help with reading, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Readiculous - Learn to Read. I've tested a bunch of kids reading apps and this one's actually pretty solid. The stories and characters are really engaging, and the mini-games make learning feel like play instead of work. Sure, it's not the most advanced thing out there, but for young kids just starting to read, I think Readiculous is a great way to get them excited about it. Not gonna lie though, the ads can get old after a while.
