Description
I’ve been playing Real Aliens for a couple months now. It’s basically a app that lets you interact with a fictional alien device – there’s all sorts of cool sound effects and animations when you tap and rotate the screen. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you can discover hidden actions by tapping and swiping the screen in different ways. There’s also a rotating bezel you can use, which is a neat touch. And on devices without a bezel, you can tap the sides to trigger stuff. Takes a bit to figure everything out but it’s fun to play around.
Look, if you’re into simulation apps or just want a fun little alien gadget to mess with, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the audio takes a sec to load sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re bored and want to play with an alien device or whatever.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Real Aliens. I've tested a bunch of these simulation apps and this one's pretty good. The graphics and animations are really well-done and it's surprisingly addictive to just fiddle with all the different interactions. Not gonna lie, I got kinda hooked for a while. But it does have some issues - the audio lag can be annoying and it can get repetitive after a bit. Overall though, I'd say it's a solid little app, especially for the low price.
