Been using Real Electro Drum Pad: Hip Hop for a couple months now. It’s basically a music production app where you can create your own beats and songs using digital drum pads. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do – there’s a bunch of different drum sounds and samples you can play around with on the touch screen pad. And you can layer them and build up a whole track. There’s also a beat making game mode which is pretty fun, and you can record your sessions to save them. Took me a while to figure out all the features but it’s pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it.

Look, if you’re into music production and beat making on your phone, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the free version has some annoying ads – but overall it does the job and lets you create some cool sounding beats.

So here's my honest take on Real Electro Drum Pad: Hip Hop. I've tested a bunch of music apps and this one's one of the better beat maker apps I've found. The interface is pretty user-friendly and the sound quality is decent. It's not as full-featured as some professional DAWs, but for a mobile app it packs a lot of punch. The only real downside is that the free version has a ton of ads, so you'll probably want to pay for the pro version if you're serious about using it. But overall, it's a pretty solid app for making beats on the go.
