Description
Been using RESET Collection for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you organize all your retro game ROMs in one place. You can add box art, screenshots, and game info automatically – it’s a pretty slick way to keep your collection tidy.
Here’s what you do: you just point the app to the folder where you have your ROMs stored (.iso, .gbc, .zip, etc.) and it’ll scan everything and pull down the metadata. And there’s also a built-in emulator so you can launch games right from the app. And the custom themes and layouts are cool – you can really make it your own.
Look, if you’re a retro game nerd like me, you’ll probably love this. It’s not perfect – the emulation can be a little buggy sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an easy way to manage your whole collection.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on RESET Collection. I've tested a bunch of retro game apps and this one's pretty solid. The interface is clean and customizable, and I like how it automatically pulls in all the box art and screenshots. The built-in emulator works well most of the time. My main gripe is that the emulation can be a little inconsistent - some games run great, others have glitches. But that's a common issue with these types of apps. Overall though, I'd say it's one of the better retro game collection tools I've used.
