So here's my take on SAMURAI SHODOWN V SPECIAL. I've tested a bunch of old-school fighting games on mobile and this one's pretty solid. The gameplay has a nice level of depth and complexity without being overwhelming, and I like that you can customize the controls. The online mode is a blast too, though I will say the matchmaking can be a bit hit or miss at times. The graphics hold up surprisingly well, though it does get a little repetitive after a while. Overall though, it's a great way to get your NEOGEO fighting game fix on the go.

Description

Been playing SAMURAI SHODOWN V SPECIAL for a couple months now. It’s basically a classic NEOGEO fighting game that’s been brought to mobile. Pretty solid if you’re into old-school arcade-style fighters.

There’s a bunch of characters to choose from and the gameplay is pretty deep – you’ve got combos, special moves, all that good stuff. And there’s an online mode where you can battle against other players which is pretty fun. It’s got quick save/load and customizable controls too, which is nice.

Look, if you’re a fan of NEOGEO or just fighting games in general, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the graphics can look a little dated and the progression can get grindy at higher levels. But overall it’s a solid package that’s worth checking out, especially if you’re looking for some classic arcade action on your phone.
