Nothing but greedy devs, bugs, and P2W players. This game was fun to start out with in season 1. It's a pay to win game that pretty much involves no skill if you have the wallet to back you up (I'm talking hundreds to survive and thousands to somewhat dominate). Every update is to add more features to spend money on and comes with a plethora of bugs. Doesn't seem like the devs take and implement any actual feedback. Meet some great people! They also got frustrated with the game and left.

This is my 2nd review. Season 2 has begun. The gang I'm in has almost 100 active players. However, we are not big spenders and can not compete with those that are. Our stronghold (3 so far) has been taken as soon as we finish battling for it. Trying to get back to S1 to escape the constant attacks is almost impossible as they sit and wait at the whirlpools. We can't enter another sea, nor can we switch servers so Devs, why would we want to keep playing?

I'm sorry but this game sucked. There's no clear cut notice of how long your safe as a new player. Also, was playing their little fishing mini game and was being attacked, which I thought It was too early to be so, and wasn't even notified I was being attacked. First I noticed blood red flashing on sides but that was all and because other player was considerably bigger, I was gone before I could notice I was being attacked. #uninstall! Which sucks because I liked the theme.

They are releasing an update that will take away my hard earned and diligently upgraded ship parts. This is supposed to be compensated, but there is no indication of what it will be. Will update when I know, but it does not look promising as all of what I have put into these parts will go to waste and unless they give other +15 ship parts specific to my heroes and ship.. it will be both a nerf and a rip off. Also the packs have not dropped at all in price. Still no pack price drops either. P2W.

This could easily be a five-star game. However, it's too stringent. There's not enough rewards for anything you do here. Stamina levels every day run out quickly with no chance of gaining more . There are few chances to attack monsters per day seriously, hindering growth . Rewards for events are cheap, to say the least. I've played other games from this developer before, and I must say I'm a little disappointed since I believe this could be their best game yet. I do love the graphics .

P2W game...do not play this unless you want to spend large amounts of money. I played this game for 6 months. Its fun initially, but there is very little strategy involved other than spending money. Devs frequently change building requirements, stats, and other base data resulting in wasted time and resources. Many bugs, game crashes regularly. Avoid this game.

I play this game and on my computer, but am thinking of quitting. It is free to play but now it is getting highly unfair, because they basically force you to buy if you want it to be fair, otherwise grind and those that pay cash will still rule the server. There are so many events now that push spending money to do, and pop up ads that are so irritating, because they are large and block your view when you first load to where you can't see where your ships are or what is going on.

Just another pay to win, where those who won't/can't pay for items/heroes get stomped on by those that do. The characters, stories, and events are mostly interesting and fun to play....when you're not busy being hunted and killed by whales. Sorry, but once you hit a certain point it's just not fun anymore. Want to make it better, allow people to opt out of pvp and just play the game.

Completely pointless game if you are a new player! Unless you want to spend a lot of money to level up. The higher level players (who did spend a lot money to get there (principly WAR gang members)) just sit waiting for you & attack you, taking your resources and gold. I had to quit & un-install the game after I was attacked over and over again, because this made it all but impossible to get to a higher level. Wasn't any point in continuing to play this game.

Seems like fraudulent advertising on in game purchasing is huge here. They advertise getting guaranteed 8 out of 10 legendary pirates but you contact them when you get 3 out of 30 after spending money. They say, it's really only 1 in 10. Why spend money. Other than that I like the game. I cantbfind a way to post the screenshots of the conversations. Lesson: you won't get what you pay for.

Game WAS alot of fun WHEN I STARTED. It was pretty fair to all players. You could pay a little to catch up with the higher people or spend some time grinding and keep up. Now they got a taste of micro transactions and have gone stupid greedy. And have destroyed the foundation of the game to suck as much money as they can out of it as possible. Now they just add new heros and ships in whenever they like and makes them game changing in the fights but cost $300-$3,000. I wouldn't get this game now!

It's fun. The game itself...is pretty fun. Great concept, pretty graphics. The rampant multitudes of pay-2-win bros make it far less fun. I can't do the simplest of game mechanics without a horde of (I'm guessing Chinese given their in-game names and public dialogue) players sinking me every chance they get. If someone 10 levels above me tracks me and kills me again and again for hours just because they can...that makes is far, far less fun. Do something about this, and maybe I'll stick around.

Well in the beginning the game was fun been playing almost 8months and it has turned into a game that considers only those who pay to win forgetting that making the game popular with everyone will create the revenue. The algorithm for pay to win becomes more expensive instead of less expensive. You would think that the more you invest the better the odds are for good returns. This is not the case. With each investment the price continues to rise for the next upgrade. Play if you want to spend$$$

Game was really enjoyable in the aspects of upgrading the ship and your characters. However, once you started interacting with other players in the open world, the disparity between players who spend money and those who dont was too great. Was attacked regularly by players with significantly stronger ships with no recourse. To truly enjoy the game, you will likely need to spend significant money.

played awhile back had opinions beyond normal fighting. which i really liked. the thing that made me stop playing it and give a low rating was the lack of strategic options... you couldn't survive as a solo player, if you had a well established and developed ship. you didn't need your guild except to take down ports... but even with that you needed at least 5 or 6 ships to take down a port but one good defender to defend it as there was no way for a team to take out a ship larger than itself

Update 5/7: I made a purchase, a few hours later my card was used to try and buy a train ticket in Germany. A month later I bought the princess ship but was given the tiger. I contacted devs immediately without opening or using anything. They said, "nothing we can do about it". Well I can - and did. Got my $10.77 back from my bank yesterday. Take snaps every step of the way, and use a credit card... you'll win every time. :D I just realized this is a 'Funplus' game... no wonder. Major scammers.

Game has lots of potential but instead it's just a big money grab. Always introducing new mechanics and heroes that require more money to keep up. Even small spenders can't last more than a few seasons. The developers are the only real winners. Edited to add: i did. Im in x2, 150 million power level 50. But the over 600 million power mega whale is unstoppable. no point playing unless you spend to keep up

As many other's have said, it's NOTHING LIKE ADVERTISED. They get you with the ads, and hope they keep with the garbage gameplay. I understand you can make a lot of money lying to people, but many of us would gladly pay for a game that is exactly as advertised. They won't do it, though. I knew it was going to be nothing like the ads, but I was stupid enough to try it anyway. Deleted some of my review to edit this, I got their automated "Thank you for..." sure, you'll fix the SCAM problem.

This game is really Great, you don't have to pay to play, but you do have to grind A lot,, and there's so many ways to get resources and gold, but the Game rewards very well depending on how you play. the only problem I have is that you can't progress the Main story SOLO, the game says you need at least 15 players to progress at a certain point,,,, Funplus please change this, so I can play again, I don't want to be FORCED to join a "GANG" just to progress through the main story Thank you.

I am getting further into the game on my phone. However it still suffers the issue of constantly being kicked off. Chromebook does the same. I thought I would give it a try again, as I miss the graphics,the music, cooking, fishing, and let's not forget the plundering. If this was a creation for Windows it lost something in the adaption to Chromebook Android this time I will keep it just to see if you use all that payola to actually address this it's a great game but extremely frustrating
