Description
Been playing SIMULACRA for a couple months now. It’s basically a realistic horror game where you find a woman’s lost phone and try to piece together what happened to her. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: You can browse through her texts, emails, photos, and other stuff on the phone to try and figure out where she is. There’s also videos and voice messages that give you clues. And you can talk to her friends through the phone – took me a while to figure that out but it’s a useful feature.
Look, if you’re into mystery/horror games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the pacing can feel a bit slow at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on SIMULACRA. I've tested a bunch of horror/mystery apps and this one's pretty solid. The found phone gimmick is super immersive and the story sucks you in. The graphics and production values are great too. But I will say it can get a little repetitive after a while as you're just going through the same phone over and over. And the pacing is a bit slow in parts. Overall though, it's a unique and polished experience that fans of the genre will dig.
